SQUARE SIMONE VEIL
Go there and contact

This square, with its children's playground and bandstand, is the largest of the city's parks.
Formerly Square des Quinconces, this green space - the city's largest - was renamed Simone Veil in 2019. It features children's play areas and remarkable trees, including a notable weeping beech in full leaf, to the right of the bandstand, as well as lime trees and large, century-old oaks (listed as French heritage). The bandstand, installed in 1895, can be used for concerts and other outdoor events. Note the bas-relief evoking the memory of Edgar Quinet, philosopher and writer from Burgundy.
