The Fédération de Pêche de l'Isère brings together the 76 AAPPMAs of the department and aims to develop amateur fishing, fishing leisure and the protection of aquatic environments, the enhancement and monitoring of the departmental fish farm. Fishing in Isère is an important hydrographic network with more than 3,400 km of 1st and ^2nd category rivers but also 540 ha of 1st and ^2nd category bodies of water.

Association established in 1987 to develop education for all to the environment

The FRAPNA (Federation Rhône Alpes de la Protection de la Nature) Savoie is an association that has been involved at different levels for the last 40 years to try to reconcile spatial planning and nature protection. The task is tough, sometimes thankless but indispensable for wellbeing, in a natural, rich and diverse space. Throughout the year, FRAPNA offers educational institutions and holiday centres many projects to discover and understand our environment, classroom or nature. But also nature exits to observe wildlife and flora. Thematic commissions are also regularly gathered to discuss issues related to the Savoyard environment.

This association has been engaged since 1986 in the fight against national projects of four dams on the Loire. It is about saving Europe's last wild river! SOS Loire is currently leading a campaign for the establishment of a UNESCO biosphere reserve on the source and gorges sector of the Loire valley. His slogan: " protect the Loire, water and nature = protect man ". And the fisherman!

Apple sketches work for the preservation of deserving fruit varieties and initiate those who wish to return to land to good practices and organic farming, respectful of the environment. As managers of conservatory orchards with 200 varieties of different apples, 120 varieties of cherry and pear trees, and about thirty plums, apple sketchers retain the genetic heritage of ancient varieties of fruit trees interesting for their tastes and robustness. They regularly organize workshops/formations of the size of trees, and they participate in many biological salons.

The CEN Auvergne is an association for the protection of nature. It manages a network of 250 sites, i.e. 2,600 hectares, it identifies environmental issues and reconciles actions with tourist and agricultural uses, etc. The association accompanies public policies and biodiversity projects of private actors. Finally, it develops the valorization, the sensitization and the training. To carry out these actions, the CEN has employees and many volunteers. There is no such thing as a farm in the heart of the city? Of course it does! Just come to Clermont-Ferrand to discover the urban farm. Here we cultivate, garden and vegetable garden (fruits, vegetables, aromatic plants...), according to the principles of permaculture and agroecology. This farm is a real educational and experimental place. Do you have a green thumb? Are you interested in gardening? The farm works with the participation of volunteers. So why not you? This is an opportunity to get involved and participate in the evolution of the urban farm.

Here is the public authority that revalorizes your garbage! Its mission is to transform waste in the form of recycling or energy production. Its website indicates how to get a composter, a Stop-pub sticker... Valtom is also dedicated to raising awareness to reduce our waste. It opens its doors from time to time to visit its sites: the Vernea incinerator refurbished in 2014, the sorting center Echalier or Puy Long, a hill where non-hazardous and non-recyclable waste is stored. We strongly advise you to visit it!

France Nature Environnement Loire is active in a number of areas: public awareness, pollution control, land-use planning... A true grassroots player, FNE Loire protects the department's natural environments and manages two remarkable sites: the Ecopôle du Forez and the Maison de la Réserve naturelle régionale des gorges de la Loire. The federation has also launched "Loire en Vert", a program of nature outings in the département. To perpetuate its nature protection activities, donations can be made via the website.

Vegetable peelings, egg shells... what to do with this waste when you live in the city center and do not have a garden? Terra Preta has answered this question by setting up the Archipel des Salins, a bio-waste collection site open to individuals and professionals. This waste is then transformed into compost, which feeds the green space created on site. Every week, many workshops are offered, such as learning different sowing techniques or learning how to make cuttings, basketry, recognizing the animals present in the gardens... Terra Preta has also set up a woodworking workshop.

The pension accommodates dogs or cats and even rodents or birds. Your cat will have here a chat tree in a heated individual chalet, it will also benefit from an outside aviary to return and exit as it pleases. As for your dog, it will be in outer boxes or in heated interior, depending on its habits. In a green setting, long walks will await it in the freshness of the surrounding shady parks.

For the past 25 years, this association has been working with the Metropole de Lyon and local authorities to create shared, community gardens. Project leaders (citizens, neighborhood groups, condominiums, social structures, real estate projects) can apply to the association for support or training. Several types of gardens already exist, such as traditional allotment gardens, educational school gardens, social gardens in disadvantaged neighborhoods, and urban shared gardens. En Boîte le Plat aims to reduce the use of disposable food packaging, which is harmful to health and the environment. Born in Toulouse, the project has spread to 5 towns in France, including Saint-Étienne, where it is run by volunteers from La Folie des Gandoles. The idea is simple: En Boîte le Plat makes returnable glass containers available to partner retailers. In this way, they can serve their customers directly from these boxes, rather than in disposable packaging. Once the meal is finished, the consumer returns the box to the place where he or she picked it up.
