For those who have already decided, this is a fabulous family walk, where you can take the time to discover nature while getting some exercise. Since summer 2002, 130 km (Forcalquier, Manosque, Lourmarin, Cavaillon section) have been added to the existing 105 km (Cavaillon to Forcalquier, via Apt), for a total loop of 236 km. If you don't want to pedal all that, there are already many sections to enjoy. For example, a 22 km greenway that passes through Apt, or "le pays d'Aigues à vélo", a beautiful 91 km circuit, soon to be marked out.

But if you opt for the 236 km loop, you can start from wherever you want, and will not necessarily need a map. Indeed, to facilitate your orientation, the loop is marked out in both directions. But don't forget to bring sun cream, sunglasses, a cap and a bottle of water! The stages are punctuated by perched villages, Provençal landscapes, bories, lavender with stops for tasting local products, this 5 to 7 day route guarantees pleasure and discovery!

There are many walks in the vicinity of Sisteron. The "botanical trail of Molard" is one of them, which we highly recommend for its accessibility, its natural beauty and its fun aspect. It lasts about two and a half to three hours and is easy to walk with its red and white GR6 markings, as well as ONF markings. Along the way, you will discover 7 stations presenting the forest environment and its species.

You will thus walk through the Molard massif, whose forest covers 25 ha spread out from 500 m to 748 m of altitude. Located at the gates of Sisteron, which it dominates with its presence, it is its garden, its green lung. It represents a remarkable example of regeneration of the vegetation and protection of the environment. Take the botanical path called "montée du Molard" on the edge of the Sisteron municipal forest. Follow it to the end. Turn right onto the Cedar Tourist Trail. After four hairpin bends and a power line, go left towards the Molard ridge. Continue on the slope of this ridge until you reach the orientation table which allows you to observe the whole of the Sisters' country. You will find a small refuge nearby. Do not go down towards Sisteron via Combes, but continue on the ridge. At the crossroads, at the level of the high voltage pylon, continue straight on towards the highest point of Molard. Go back down to Sisteron either by the path you took or by Les Combes.

Choose from a range of options to suit all ages, such as a discovery walk for a family loop, or a two- to seven-day trek with the donkeys towards Italy. What's more, a donkey farmer offers educational activities to raise awareness of the mountain environment and the presence of donkeys.

This club, set up in the heart of the Maures massif in 2003, under the direction of Séverine Pellerin, a state-qualified teacher with a passion for horses and equestrian sports, offers leisure or sports riding, pony and horse riding activities, competition outings, advanced training courses during all school holidays, federal exams and summer camps. Services are offered to owners.

The Fédération Départementale des Chasseurs des Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, based in Digne-les-Bains, is responsible for managing hunting in the département. This local fishing association deals with Lake Saint-Cassian and the Siagne. Fario deplores its secteur sector on the resource of local water (AEP, irrigation, approval) and the presence of impassable works that isolate certain fish populations and gènent their breeding. The Spéléo-Club de La Ciotat La Salamandre is an association founded in 1980 by young people with a passion for nature and adventure. For over 40 years, the club has been offering outings to discover the fabulous underground environment of Europe's majestic maritime cuesta. Whether you're a beginner or an expert in caving, their wide range of activities (caves, canyons, vertiginous trails...) cater for all levels and ages. Their unusual outings, such as the Fardeloup cave or the Michel Simon canyon, are ideal for thrills with friends or family.

Created on January 20, 1984, Spéléolus became a big club with over members! Caving, but also canyoning, via-ferrata and climbing. The club offers technical training to its speleologists, thanks to its climbing wall.

Saint-Jeannet is well known for its Nature Essentielle event organization. Nature Essentielle offers a variety of services, including courses and stays for children and teenagers, sports and leisure activities for adults, and coaching. Nature Essentielle is located at 94 Chemin du Peyron in Saint-Jeannet. They are also present on social networks. Nature Essentielle is accredited by the French Ministries of Youth and Sports, and National Education. This new golf course, owned by the Barbero family, completes the existing offer in Roquebrune-sur-Argens and plays the card of attractive prices in order to democratize this sport, as its name indicates! The farmhouse of Tune is 1 580 metres high in the area of Chaillol. The promenade we offer runs along the Mal Canal, formerly used to capture the melting water of the same name. Due to the lack of physical and financial resources, it is now devoid of any function but remains a pleasant path to travel, especially after small snowfall. Very little climbing, it is especially recommended to the least initiated.

This route invites you to ride in the last territory attached to France in 1947. The village of La For and the classified valley of Roya have many historical and architectural treasures, which will be known to you as the kilometres travelled… Among them, the sanctuary of Notre-Dame-des-Fontaines deserves an extended stop: You will discover a whole range of culture and traditions in the Brigasque region. The Saint Martin collegiate church, the castle of the counts of Lascaris and the Rooster bridge are also worth a visit, as well as the famous Cà d'arbinée, typical of the Haute high Valley in the form of amphitheatre.

Very little relief, rich and colourful flora, small roads secure and isolated from circulation: the Quail plain definitely meets all the criteria for a successful outdoor exit. It would be a shame to miss the unusual story of the Quail meteorite, whose breeding is now visible in the church bell!

Inaugurated in 2013, the campsite Hyères - Îles d'Or has fourteen mountain bike circuits. These are very diverse landscapes covering these 100 kilometres of groomed trails, from family walks in the forest to steep sea trails. To better locate, four sectors were identified on the mainland: the site of the Maunière (6 circuits, 2 to 6 km), the Château site (Boucle loop: 5,4 km), the site of the Borrels (two circuits, 2,7 and 18 km) and finally the Velodrome site which includes an initiation loop, very short and slopes. Carved in limestone rock, the Laces offer their steep sides to the athletes. No need to be an athlete, however to approach them, this two-hour ATV circuit is accessible at all levels. As the mountain says rise, it will have to climb for a moment from the centre of Lafare to admire views of the northern and southern facades of the mountain chain. The itinerary goes in particular to three curiosities that deserve your attention: the Century Tower, St Christopher Chapel and the waterfalls of Lafare.
