Since 2007, Michel Boujenah is the artistic director of the festival.

This year all concerts take place at the Sacré-Coeur Chapel. Poitevin, Campra, Gilles, Belissen, Estienne… are among the musicians privileged by the ensemble aix of baroque music of the Orphée d'Orphée. Created in 1986, this association of musicians and music lovers aims to re-establish and disseminate works inscribed in Provençal heritage. The choir is composed of some singers, within which several soloists, vocal and instrumental formations coexist. During the renovation of the Sainte-Catherine chapel, the usual fief of the Festes, the musicians and singers are welcomed to the Chapel of the Sacred Heart which now vibrates with the rich sounds of the great motets and des, the harmonies of the suites and sonatas… The Festes of Orphée organise concerts throughout the year with a strong time in summer during Aix-en-Baroque. A great moment of emotion.
