Discover extraordinary gardens that open their doors to welcome works of contemporary artists.
The contemporary art strolls were initiated by Andréa Ferréol, a fervent admirer of Cézanne and lover of his studio. In collaboration with the tourist office, the idea was born to propose an artistic stroll in Aix; the walkers push the door of an unknown garden or an unknown place and meet art, whether it is by discovering a work of art, by listening to a musical concert, or by participating in a public reading, a book signing... Over the past 15 years, the proposal has conquered more than 165,000 strollers and allowed some 225 artists and actors from France and Europe to find their audience.
