Saint-Savinien is one of the most pleasant towns, offering a soft light for everyone who wants to stroll along the Charente. But the town also has a miniature port which is linked to the passion of one man: Jean-Louis Foucaud. This ship carpenter had the idea of creating model fishing and merchant ships for children. This was done as early as 1987 with the first four ships that delighted children. Today, 18 replicas are available, to the delight of children, who can take the helm for a moment. The most? The decors are particularly realistic and offer a resolutely pleasant atmosphere: plaice, bridge, bastion, dyke. Smart, parents are welcome and will be able to take advantage of the snack and lunch formulas offered by the snack bar on the shaded terrace, on the edge of the lake. On the site you will find the "île aux manèges" which offers other playful pleasures: carousel, swings and 1920's period merry-go-round, pedal go-kart circuit...

The Evi Nautika nautical base in Ciboure, one of the oldest sailing schools in the Bay of Socoa (51 years old), offers courses and lessons, and rents out nautical equipment all year round, including 9 Figaro sailboats (ideal for beginners), motorboats and paddleboats. The sailing school is affiliated with the French Sailing Federation. Boards, catamarans and towed gliders are available for hire. Supervised by instructors (DE).

Want to sail the waves? Whether you're a beginner or an experienced sailor, the Bordeaux-Lac sailing center offers training courses and leisure activities suitable for all ages, from 8 years upwards, accompanied by an adult, or from 16 years upwards on your own. You'll be supervised by qualified instructors. As for the fleet, you'll have a choice of 35 optimists, 20 catamarans (New Cat F2, New Cat 12 and Hobie Cat 16), 60 windsurfing boards, 20 double-handed dinghies, 15 single-handed dinghies...

The Société des Régates Rochelaises is one of the best and oldest light sailing clubs in France. In 2021, the club merged with the Ecole de Voile Rochelaise to become "La Rochelle Nautique". The place is still very popular with those who want to learn sailing, it was elected Club of the Year in 2013 and has trained many champions, some becoming references in their category. The Society organizes international light sailing competitions thanks to an adapted plan, ideal infrastructures and a recognized experience.

Founded in 1966, this sailing club offers sailing for all at its two bases: La Flotte and Rivedoux. Easily accessible, the Rivedoux base is located on the village's southern beach and enables children aged 5 and over to discover the joys of sailing. Beyond the purely sporting aspect, the young sailors also discover the marine environment in complete safety. The youngest sail on the famous Optimists, beginners on Laser Funboats and older children on New Cat Catamarans. Courses last from 3 to 5 days. The association has been awarded the "Ecole Française de Voile" label, guaranteeing teaching leading to autonomy, practical and adapted facilities, and the possibility of sailing in complete safety. Private lessons are available for confident beginners or advanced sailors: catamarans, dinghies, as well as windsurfers for hire.

The Centre Nautique Biscarosse Olympique welcomes you to Latécoère on the south lake and to Navarrosse on the north lake in summer. Here, you can take advantage of the sailing school to learn all year round, the sports school to try your hand at competition, or leisure sailing for those who already know how to sail. Summer courses, lasting from 3 to 5 days and subject to registration, are available for all levels, for beginners or advanced sailors aged 5 and over.

Catabas is a specialist in boat rental in Arcachon, offering sailing and motor catamarans for day, weekend or multi-day charter, with or without skipper, for those who have mastered the art of sailing a catamaran and are familiar with the Arcachon basin. Boats can accommodate from 2 to 21 people. Catabas also offers you the opportunity to organize a private cruise for 2h30 or more, including an overnight stay. Romantic for some, more festive for others, for an EVG/EVJF for example...

Climb aboard a sailboat, take to the open sea and learn to sail with the Haizea Spi en Tête sailing school, which offers outings off the Basque coast. Sailing enthusiasts, welcome to Sport Nautique d'Andernos! The friendly instructors, the trips around the Île aux Oiseaux... are just some of the reasons to try your hand at sailing. Nautical excursions and courses during the school vacations are offered on Optimists from age 6, dinghies from age 8, catamarans from age 10 and windsurfers from age 11. The course comprises 5 sessions of 3 hours each, from Monday to Friday, depending on the tides. Private and group lessons are led by qualified instructors.

The Charente Sailing School gives children and adults alike a taste of the joys of sailing on the Saint-Yrieix lake. Nautilclub is a sailing and boat rental school on the Biscarrosse-Parentis lake. Catamaran, funbord, dinghy, paddle, pedalo, kayak... With family or friends, discover this large natural lake covering 3,500 hectares. The lake water is soft, shallow and sandy. Quick to warm up, it's ideal for learning to windsurf. Whether you're looking for an introductory session, a group session or a private lesson, Nautilclub is for everyone who wants to try their hand at windsurfing. La Cabane Verte is a sailing school located in Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré, on the Ile de Ré. It offers a variety of nautical activities, including kayak rental, beginner and advanced surfing, wing foil, windsurfing and paddleboarding. Courses and private lessons are also available for catamaran and windsurfing, for beginners and advanced alike. The school provides the necessary equipment, such as wetsuits and life jackets, but it is advisable to bring a windbreaker for the catamaran.

Laurent Camus is a boat school instructor in La Rochelle. A sailing enthusiast from an early age, he teaches sailing in a simple and accessible way. His aim is to pass on his technical knowledge in a relaxed atmosphere of discovery. He adapts his sailing sessions to the level of his trainees, and never pushes when conditions at sea become difficult. To guarantee a quality service, he limits the number of trainees on board. His teaching experience enables him to establish a calm dialogue with his students and organize life on board so that they feel comfortable and confident.

CNPA Bassin de Marennes is a sailing club located in Bourcefranc-le-Chapus. The sailing school offers a variety of courses for all levels and ages, including windsurfing courses, optimist courses, catamaran courses for children and adults, and private lessons. In addition to courses, the club also offers sailing equipment rentals, such as catamarans, dinghies, paddles and kayaks. The CNPA also has parking and mooring facilities for boats.
