Painting New Aquitaine

Open to beginners and confirmed artists, the school provides students with the various aesthetic practices. Through drawing, painting, living model, the artists of each class exercise their eyes and hands to techniques used since the night of time. Thus, 27 hours of instruction mark the week and allow each age group to come to express its creativity. Teachers, qualified and attentive, will help you to make progress by valuing your efforts and your work.

A graduate of the École des Beaux-arts de Poitiers and C.A.F.A.S., Richard Gautier is an exceptional painter who perfectly masters oil painting, watercolour and of course drawing. It is therefore at his workshop that he proposes to discover his art and teach you the basics, unless you come to perfection in which case, you will be enchanted by his talents to work light. It will teach you, in particular, oil painting, in the way of the Flemish and the Venetians, which allows for more real light than nature.

Micheline Mathieu painted on pots, brocs and other buckets, but also on canvas. She painted it… pots and brocs but also naked and abstract canvases. Before you discover all the palettes of his talent, you have to find his charming workshop in the unexpected labyrinth of the roads of Theil-Rabier, a small village where you can get lost there.

Artistic expression in children is an essential component of their cognitive, emotional and social development. This workshop offers children, teenagers and adults the chance to develop their creativity through the use of different artistic techniques: painting, drawing, pottery, modeling and ceramics. These weekly get-togethers are moments of sharing that also encourage intergenerational exchanges by developing a multitude of social and emotional skills.
