The team offers canoe, kayak and paddle rentals. It organizes half-day and shorter trips (4 and 8 km), with circuits that allow you to discover the hidden secrets of Brantôme and the surrounding area. We supply all safety equipment (unsinkable boat, buoyancy vest, water bottle, paddle). Prices vary according to the length of use. Also on offer: all-terrain electric scooter rides (3 different routes) to discover Brantôme and the surrounding area.

Curious about nature? Go to the shores of the lake of Aureilhan to enjoy a superb guided tour in a Hawaiian pirogue made of Landes pine. Iris, hibiscus, water lilies, herons, waterfowl... At the rhythm of the paddles, you will discover the fauna and flora of this Natura 2000 site. From 4 years old, provided you can swim, this activity is also accessible to people with disabilities. If you'd like to take to the skies and discover the beauty of the Poitou in a different way, you can take to the skies aboard a microlight. A pilot for 40 years, on the Boeing 777 in particular, Olivier will be delighted to take you aboard one of the two microlights available. For a first flight, forget everything and let yourself be carried away. As an ultralight instructor and teacher, if you're looking for an introduction to flying, Olivier is also your man. The controls are yours, the sensations are yours, and it's time to enjoy the great outdoors and get away from it all!

This hike is characterized by an itinerary that offers some very fine views and is divided into two parts. At the start, there's an out-and-back path that takes you through a wood, past a hedge, then a stream and up the hill. You then take a loop to the Esquerdes church, surrounded by vineyards, woods and orchards. You return along a pine forest. This 8.2 km hike (3h walking, 1h mountain biking) is easy, varied and bucolic.

Run mainly by volunteers, this association offers educational, sporting and leisure activities throughout the school year. You can learn or improve your English or Russian, computer skills, sewing and knitting, patchwork and counted stitches, take part in a reading circle, follow cooking or drama workshops, practice yoga, table tennis or badminton. There's also tutoring, ballroom dancing and gardening...

Soulac-sur-Mer is home to the Soulac-La Runde airfield, a civilian airfield open to the public. The airfield is mainly used for leisure and tourism activities. It is managed by the Soulac-sur-Mer town council. The airfield has a fleet of aircraft including models such as the Diamond Star DA 40 TDI 135 CV, the Robin DR400-150CV and the Cessna F 172 M. These aircraft are used for introductory flights, first flights and trips. Visitors can enjoy a 30-minute flight to discover Soulac-sur-Mer, Le Verdon, the Gironde estuary and the Cordouan lighthouse. You can also take part in intensive flying courses to obtain your "brevet d'initiation aéronautique". The airfield also offers boxes for vacation equipment.

Aéroclub Montalivet is a flying club located in Vendays-Montalivet. It offers flights for licensed pilots, as well as training courses for those wishing to obtain their pilot's license. This aquatic complex offers a 25 m sports pool for experienced swimmers, with dedicated lanes or freestyle. Training courses, swimming lessons and aquatic activities take place in the learning pool. You will explore the remains of the opulent vineyards of yesteryear, devastated by phylloxera at the end of the 19th century: remaining plots of land, old canteens, where the winegrowers used to eat and store their tools, and a windmill. The itinerary "In the footsteps of the Négrette" leads you to this rare grape variety, to a plantation of truffle oaks and to a superb panorama of the Courance valley, with Niort in the background.

Several circuits to be done on foot, by bike or on horseback of at least 10 km are proposed between the communes of Saint-Hilaire-la-Palud (departures at the place de la Mairie) and Arçais via Damvix (in Vendée). You will discover the wild marsh by exploring its conches and its small heritage, including the charming little port of Montfaucon. Poplar groves and wild plants (meadowsweet, comfrey, valerian, iris), decorate the walks.

Departure is from Place des Poulies in Saint-Loup-Lamairé. By pedal boat or canoe, it's an opportunity to discover the Gâtine in a different way, as seen from the lovely Thouet. Dedicated to school activities, the Lidon is open to the public for 6 weeks in summer. Access to the initiation basin and the wild marsh is free. Kayaks and canoes can be rented directly from the site at low cost for up to 3 hours (rates according to family income). Imagine the Marais Poitevin from the air - what a marvel! You fly over the wet and dry marshes between land and sea. We'll take you to the take-off site, introduce you to the assembly of the hot-air balloon (made in France); from there, you'll enjoy a breathtaking 1-hour aerial tour, during which we'll tell you all about piloting and weather conditions. Prices increase on weekends, but are reduced according to the number of budding aeronauts. Private gondolas available (max. 2 people).

Located around the viaduct, on both banks of the Vienne river, Parc de l'Envol welcomes you. On the six progressively more challenging tree-climbing courses, you can move through the trees thanks to over 75 workshops: footbridges, nets, lianas, ladders... Then soar over the Vienne River on two giant zip lines, 202 and 505 metres long (the two longest in the département!). Thrills guaranteed! If you want to do the whole site, you'll need to allow for 3 hours of activity. Electric scooters are also available for hire.

Want to bask in the sun or cool off in the water? On the banks of the Vienne river, the Queaux beach is a real place of relaxation. On site, there are many activities: games for children, fishing, bowling, miniature golf, volleyball, ping-pong, paddling pool... Swimming is supervised in July and August, in the afternoons. In addition to the picnic area, on the restaurant side, there is also the Guinguette du Renard, open every day in summer (2:30-8:30 pm). The beach comes alive with its festival in summer, every Friday evening with a free concert.

Walk through the history of Cerize, which begins in the Neolithic period. You start at the castle of La Roche (3 ears of corn gite), its superb park and its pond. You will then discover the architectural and natural heritage of the surroundings: Saint-Pierre church and its tympanums decorated with ceramics (19th century); Saint-Père washhouse; Puy Genest and the Queen of the Meadows trail, a wetland ecosystem; Le Plessis, an ancient fortified village (9th century), the Celtic educational trail, Les Bourrelières and an observation platform. You will end up at the pretty Vannelière pond (fishing allowed).

You will tour Tourtenay and its surroundings in search of beautiful views of the vineyards. Among the historical sites you will cross: the church of Tourtenay, founded by the evangelizing monk Fort, from Saint-Jouin-de-Marnes; the hamlet of Le Moulin, famous for its resistance acts in 1941 - 16 radio transmitters were parachuted there; the Petit-Puy and the church of Saint-Martin, built on the edge of an old Compostela path at 110 m altitude.

You will explore the different historical districts of Parthenay starting from the castle (13th century), the central monument of the district called the Citadel. You will discover the Chemin du Rosaire, and its pretty eponymous chapel, which links the suburbs of Saint-Paul, the tanners' quarter, on the banks of the Thouet, and Saint-Jacques. The view is amazing! You cross the Prée, admire the remains of the ramparts, including the Trilobate tower, an original specimen both for its considerable dimensions (27x28 m) and its cloverleaf shape. You end up at the Saint-Jacques gate.

You walk around the Soleil-Levant lake and the Touche-Poupard dam along a steep path laid out in a bed of old schist and milky quartz. Fauna and flora are astonishing here: as you reach the vanished village of La Folie, and follow the GR 364, you will observe the great crested grebe, come across luxuriant vegetation in spring, columbines, stellar and wood hyacinths. It will be possible to take a break at the hikers' stop.

The suzerain castle of Cherveux is surrounded by vassal residences of beautiful allure. You will discover them all along this loop: the Seneuil dwelling, the Carte castle, the Roche-Cantin estate, the Valière fortress or the Francs dwelling, built around the 15th century. The route is punctuated by many other curiosities, beyond the romantic panorama, hundred-year-old chestnut trees, the Ramées path (former route of the Compostelle pilgrims), the Plan pump (1880) and the Cherveux sundial (1836). The walk is enchanting!

Lovers of bicycle touring will be delighted with this proposal! You will escape to the Airvaudais in search of its architectural heritage and panoramas. The loop includes 9 stops including Borcq-sur-Airvault, Marnes, Saint-Jouin-de-Marnes and its grandiose 11th century abbey church, Saint-Généroux. You will alternate atmospheres and landscapes: valleys of the Thouet, the Dive, the Cendronne, plains or the fabulous Soulièvres meadow, with its hundred-year-old cedars...

This trail, which starts at the Guesnes pond, takes you through the Scévolles forest. Discover the Fondoire hunting lodge, evidence of ^19th-century hunting with hounds, or the little Acadian hut. You'll come close to the cavities of the old Chanteloup quarries. Pass the Beaumont estate, La Briande and the washhouse. Follow part of the Ligne Verte, the old railroad line between Loudun and Châtellerault, then return through the forest.

In fine weather, what could be more pleasant than to enjoy the cool waters of the Creuse? The setting invites you to relax and picnic on the riverbank: majestic trees cast the right shade for lounging. The leisure area offers games for young and old alike (pétanque, canoe hire...). Fishing enthusiasts can enjoy the natural riches of the river. Great fun for all!

Mickaël, your instructor-coach, well known in the sporting world, offers you the chance to set off on an adventure in complete safety on the steep paths of the Labourd region (during various exploration, escape or adventure rides) with all protective equipment (gloves, helmet...). The river Clain flows peacefully through Saint-Benoît, a town where life is good. A boat ride on the river is one of the must-do activities of the summer season. Whether as a duo, with family or friends, this walk in the heart of this green setting will bring a feeling of serenity to all. Relaxation and tranquility are on the agenda. The Mon Repos port offers five boats for rent that can accommodate five people.

On the banks of the Charente, Saint-Macoux offers a very pleasant leisure center for a family refreshment. The little ones will be delighted to slide down the water slide and the parents will be reassured to know that they are safe because in July and August, the lifeguards are watching over them. Fishing (except in summer), children's games, zip line, petanque area, the Marais leisure center promises good moments of relaxation. You can eat at the restaurant of the Marais.

Natur'all, a local association specializing in trekking, expeditions in the Far North and adventure in the broadest sense, offers a bushcraft course. You'll learn tips and tricks for survival with a minimum of equipment: setting up a teepee, carving wood with a knife, lighting a fire with tinder and making wooden objects. Julien will introduce you to the art of using the natural resources around you. Two options are available: a guided tour of the Marais with tasting, or an introduction to bushcraft.

The Lathus outdoor center offers a wide range of activities: kayaking, stand-up paddle, archery, mountain biking, caving, rock climbing, Accro'Lathus, tree climbing, circus, horse riding, Disc'Lathus, hiking, Tèrra Aventura, educational farm... In summer, activities (booking required) are organized every day by qualified activity leaders. Numerous accommodation options are available on site for groups. A pleasant walk along the Boutonne valley, where you will discover here and there, alongside the hedges, mills, wash houses, abandoned arms and reaches. You walk in search of various curiosities: the Bassée aux chats, legendary meeting place of these males on Mardi Gras, the roadman's shelter (1840), the path of the Romans, ancient Roman road which linked Saintes to Poitiers. Be careful when crossing the D950. This loop joins the GR 655 pilgrimage route.

The golf course lies at the heart of the 120-hectare Domaine de Roiffé. Created in 1985 by French architect Hubert Chesneau, this 18-hole golf course offers a simple, diversified layout over 60 hectares of partly wooded, undulating terrain. It's a pleasant course that winds its way between the Fontevraud forest, the estate's pond and ^19th-century tufa mansions. And for a first approach, with the "Golf en famille" experience, you can enjoy a one-hour initiation.

In the heart of the Domaine de Roiffé, the Haras des Ouches equestrian center offers equestrian tourism, rides, but also courses and training. On the domain or in the middle of nature, it is possible to ride a pony or a horse for 30 minutes in autonomy or one to two hours with a guide. From 18 months onwards, even the youngest children can discover the pony. A ride in a carriage, for up to 8 people, is also possible. More unusual, you can ride a dromedary or camel for a baptism, a unique experience.
