Tapas bar New Aquitaine

At Bodega del Teatro, which adjoins Le Theatro club, the atmosphere is as lively as Spanish Basque evenings can be: tapas, paella, sangria, and a good dose of music to liven things up. The space is very large, and doubles up as a terrace, so you'll have plenty of room for groups and even a few dance steps. Afterworks, concerts, DJ sets, pintxos night (every Friday). Be warned, though, that you may find yourself throwing your arms into a frenzied paquito!

Le Décanteur is a wine bar offering a wide selection of over 300 wines from various regions of France and around the world. On-site sommeliers will guide you in choosing the wine that best suits your tastes. The Décanteur team also prepares gourmet tapas. The menu is regularly updated in line with the seasons. You can follow their news on Instagram with the hashtag #pessac. It's also worth noting that Le Décanteur has another establishment in Le Bouscat, with a bistronomic restaurant.

The adjective that doesn't fit this tapas bar and restaurant is static. The terrace has been enlarged to accommodate all fans of Iberian cuisine, including the famous pintxos (from 3 euros). Here, the produce is fresh and the cooking "home-made". Alex and Vivian also concoct the famous plato combinado with lomo or chipirons, fried egg, piperade, potatoes, salad and sheep's cheese. At lunchtime on weekdays, the full lunch menu costs 16.90 euros. Entertainment is also provided.

Wouldn't this be the most beautiful terrace in Mimizan? Sweeping the horizon from the North beach to the South beach, the LA O rooftop offers you a 180° panorama on the ocean. So, who can say better? Perched above the Garage Toqué, this new trendy address, but accessible to all on a first-come, first-served basis (70 seats) is a cocktail and tapas bar. The chef works with frog legs, sweetbreads, citrus fruits... The selection of alcohols is just as fine. Here, we do rather in the top of the range for a moment nec plus ultra!

Le Pré Salé is a tapas bar with a "colorful and recuperative" terrace that invites you to sip a cocktail or a cold drink. You can also come for breakfast, a main course or a lunchtime menu, and an afternoon snack of waffles and iced coffee, for example. We decided to go at the end of the day. We would have gone for tapas, but... we weren't offered. Too bad, because the mixed "plank" looked rather nice. Afterwards, we headed off to watch the sunset over the pool at the end of the street.

In a side street, not far from the Théâtre de Gascogne Le Molière, this attractive wine bar with over 100 references promises to provide you with a pleasant experience. To accompany your drink, a regularly changing tapas menu is on offer: mimosa eggs, home-cured Landes duck breast, gravlax salmon, charcuterie and cheese boards, baked camembert, croque-monsieur, pâté with Bisay pork and Armagnac, marrow bone with parsley... In short, a veritable den for epicureans. And when Le Margotton is showing matches, you'd better make a reservation!
