Aix can only be discovered by boat! Head for Fouras, then let us guide you to the Pointe de la Fumée, the main landing stage for this crescent of land. Two ships make the crossing all year round. Tickets can be purchased on board, and bicycles can be brought along (please note that numbers are limited). The 20-minute cruise takes you to an area listed as a remarkable natural site.

The Caumont-sur-Garonne boat stop is located in a natural setting on the banks of the Voie Verte and the Canal de Garonne. Water and electricity are available on site. You'll find a payment terminal for tokens at the Villeton, Mas d'Agenais and Meilhan/Garonne rest areas (payment by credit card).

Protected by the ramparts and located in the heart of the village, it allows travelers to visit the restaurant or the park. Managing 220 berths year-round, 52 of which are reserved for visiting yachtsmen, the Harbour Office offers all the services you need to make a stopover in St-Martin as easy as possible.

Today, Les Minimes is the largest port on the Atlantic seaboard. Passengers and locals alike flock to Les Minimes, and not just to take a boat trip. Les Minimes is also a pleasant place to be, with its beach, seaside promenade, restaurants and, above all, an ice cream parlour renowned for its inimitable sorbets! Smart boaters will have no trouble getting to the city center, thanks to the sea bus and, of course, the bicycle!

Located at the gateway to the Atlantic, but protected by the Pointe de Grave, this attractive marina offers an exceptional position between the Atlantic and the Gironde Estuary. With its 800 berths (eventually 1,200) equipped with water and electricity, on a 15-hectare inner basin, with minimum draughts of 2 and 3 meters, discover a comfortable access and stay. On a single site, you'll find the harbourmaster's office, around twenty food shops, nautical services, a sailing school and 800 free parking spaces, all of which make for a remarkable setting, far from the hustle and bustle of urban life, embellished by almost 6 hectares of green spaces and plantations.

Festive events and regattas punctuate the year: the Tour de Cordouan regatta in mid-April and the Trophée Port Médoc at the end of April; the Sunday market from May to September; the Jet-Ski Estuary at the end of June, the Saturday aperitifs in July and August; the Quai des Vins yachting and wine show every year on the first weekend in May.

5 km from the city centre, towards Old Boucau, here is a way to spend a pleasant time with family and discover the sea lake. Take the boat of your choice to the miniature port of Albret, and navigate safely. For adults and children, pilotage for 9 years, a walk in a peaceful and green setting on board very faithful reproductions of a Britanny Ferries, a steam from Mississippi, a trawler or a fire boat.

Located around the state-of-the-art harbour, it has state-of-the-art oil recovery facilities, a mini-waste and comfortable facilities for recreational boaters, on site, with water, electricity and complete equipment, wifi connection and telephone boxes. Animations are offered throughout the year, feast of the sea, festival of the chipiron, regatta, fishing competition, paddle-ski competition, jet-ski. The port has 950 locations, it can accommodate boats up to 23 metres in safety.

Situated in a natural setting, the nautique offers hikers, cyclists, freshwater sailors and camping boats a place of exception and relaxation in the shade of the trees. In addition to a walk in nature, those who wish to visit the Peasant Memory Museum open from June to September. Told by enthusiasts, the visit traces a century of history in the countryside, with hand tools and machines in perfect functioning.

Located at the mouth of the Gironde, Royan's marina is well known to sailors for its position in the heart of the town. Sheltered from the wind and protected by the ferry landing stage, it is one of the major ports on the Atlantic seaboard. Once moored, sailors can stroll under the port's arches or head for the nearby town center. There are plenty of things to do: discover the church, stroll through the shopping streets or sit on the terrace of a restaurant.

Rochefort has a commercial port twinned with Tonnay-Charente and a marina on the right bank of the river. It is ideally located, not far from Fort Boyard and Aix, and sheltered from the prevailing winds. Committed to protecting the planet, the harbour is ideally located, just a few steps from the thermal baths, the town center and several restaurants. There are 300 pontoon berths, 40 of which are reserved for visitors, and modern facilities including a careening area and water recovery station.

The Saint-Denis marina is the largest on the island of Oleron, with 750 moorings. Once used to transport wine from Chassiron to the port of La Rochelle, it is now a tourist attraction. A departure and stopover point for cruisers bound for the Isle of Aix or La Rochelle, it's also a popular spot for those looking for an iodized stroll or a coffee break on a restaurant terrace. Passing yachtsmen will find a wide range of services on offer: two toilet/shower blocks, a laundry open 7 days a week and equipment on loan.

Not only is this the largest harbor on the island, but like Saint-Martin-de-Ré, it's also ideally located. No sooner have you moored your boat than you'll be able to relax on the terrace of a café, or stroll through the flower-filled lanes to the village center.

The general infrastructure of the port of Hendaye, protected by the Jaizkibel mountain, comprises 890 berths for boats from 5 to 16m and offers user comfort, technical equipment and a quality shelter. Water, electricity and 24-hour surveillance are available on the pontoons. Users benefit from a dedicated parking area and private sanitary facilities with access codes (toilets, washbasins, showers). The port of Hendaye is a real economic lung and center of life, with regattas and night markets all year round.

The port of Larraldenia, shared between Saint-Jean-de-Luz and Ciboure, is a marina built in the 1970s. It has 81 berths on pontoons, which are taken by storm every year, as evidenced by the ever-growing waiting list. It is reserved for boats under 16 m and has an 8-berth visitors' area. Located at the mouth of the River Nivelle, you need to be careful when entering the bay, as the rocks overhang the breakwater.

Club Nautique de Vassivière Port Crozat is a yacht club located in Peyrat-le-Château. It offers a variety of nautical activities and has a website where you can find out more about their services and events. They also offer water safety training for members. The club's home lake, Lac de Vassivière, is ranked among the 10 most beautiful lakes in France by Géo magazine.

In a way, this former oyster harbor represents the living memory of the commune. Nowadays, activity is reduced, but it will soon be redeveloped to enable yachtsmen to moor in this authentic, peaceful setting. The oyster huts, built by the fishermen themselves, add a touch of nostalgia to the charm of this place. They are due to be refurbished. A project for a fishing lake with a small hamlet of light housing is also planned, creating an exceptional leisure haven.

Towards the end of the ^18th century, the cultivation of vines encouraged the expansion of this small port, whose activities were divided between river transport and fishing. Today, it's the pleasure boaters who come to make a stopover and take advantage of the berths (36, including 2 for visitors) available in the port. Good to know: every year in July, the municipality organizes the Goulée port festival, which includes a pétanque competition, a night market, a funfair and the throwing of a wreath into the sea in memory of lost sailors.
