Beautiful waterfront location, overlooking Newport Bay, for this small tearoom that also serves breakfast. Baked crab and Preseli lamb are their specialties. This old 18th century pub, all in stone, is an address not to be missed! Extremely pleasant to drink a beer or eat a bite to eat. Fresh fish and lobster are often on the menu! For dessert, you can enjoy a homemade brownie, a crumble, a Belgian waffle or a choice of ice cream. You can also opt for a sandwich type snack. The place also offers a choice of breakfast. We're conveniently located right in the center of Barmouth, just a few meters from the beach and plenty of parking. The setting is pleasant in this hotel restaurant featuring Welsh lamb and locally caught fish, among other dishes. In summer, you can enjoy a pint and a typical dish such as fish & chips at one of the many tables on the street-side terrace or in the inner courtyard! In terms of accommodation, the rooms are a little old-fashioned in terms of decor, but comfortable and clean.

The owner, attached to his roots, has taken up Celtic motifs to decorate, among other things, his silver napkin rings... The cuisine is refined and well presented. Dine in a tranquil, dimly lit atmosphere. The à la carte menu is fine and varied: celery and pear soup, salmon filet en croûte, clementines and black pepper, vegetarian mezze... As the restaurant doesn't have many tables, please book in advance. Ideal for elegant, intimate dining. Good wine list (the Merlot is delicious!).
