The Chantilly racecourse is an exceptional site near the château and opposite the Grandes Écuries. Specializing in gallop racing, it boasts a 2,400 m main track, a 1,200 m straight, a 2,150 m middle track and a 1,400 to 2,400 m round track. In this renovated 30,000-seat racecourse, the public has a perfect view of the horses' presentation. The best 3-year-old colts compete in the Jockey Club and fillies in the Prix de Diane Longines, a famous race where it's good to wear a hat.

Lovers of horses and betting, the International Racecourse of La Capelle opens its doors to you. This regional horse racing centre hosts many trotting and galloping races throughout the year. Come and discover from the stands the exhilarating feeling of this show! During your visit, you will also get an overview of the many jobs that exist in the equestrian world. Finally, the La Capelle racecourse hosts other popular regional events such as the weekend Les Attelages de l'Aisne in March or the VétifleTTe in June.

The Route du Poisson is a 6-day endurance driving race. Created in 1991 to contribute to the preservation of draught horse breeds, it is run in stages. The start is always in Boulogne-sur-Mer, but the finish may vary from one edition to another. In 2021, the race should have celebrated its 30th anniversary, finishing on the Champs-Élysées. Due to the health crisis, it was finally postponed until 2022. The Route du Poisson is also an opportunity to showcase the declining trades in the agricultural and equine sectors.
