Jean-Louis Nigon and Monique Lesbroussart share this workshop in the village of Savignies, which until the beginning of the th century was an important centre for the production of pottery. We even found parts dating back to the th century! They manufacture crockery (from "utilitarian pottery"), but also more personal stoneware or ceramic works with Renaissance motifs. Jean-Louis Nigon is known among others for his épis of couille which, for him, are a pretext for a sculpture. Cats, cocks, or even squirrels coming out of the potter's oven are watching the roof of the houses.

Marie-Odile Marchand has been an animal painter for over 30 years. Wild animals are often highlighted but seem to be melting in a decor specially created for them. Indeed, the artist's works reflect tantôt atmospheres, sometimes snow or dusk, which leave a certain mystery in the animals represented. These paintings are very gentle and are similar to a dream between dreams and reality. This flourished painter has been awarded several awards at art fairs.

Founded in 2015 by Sébastien Prisset, Chromosome A is a hybrid space dedicated to showcasing and promoting artists from around the world. On one side is the boutique space, the "curious corner", where beautiful art, fashion and design creations are on display. It's a place where you can buy differently, with a focus on quality, craftsmanship, respect for materials and authenticity. On the other hand, the gallery hosts exhibitions and readings. Chromosome A offers "a stroll through art, design and fashion".

The most famous glass factory in the world can be visited throughout the week. The curious will discover the principle of elaboration of glass, but also of crystal, all this after a presentation of the history of the company which manufactures 6 million different articles per day. Mr. Dos Santos is a young jeweller who manufactures or transforms jewellery. He works very diverse materials: all metals, @, ebony, horn, semi-precious stones or precious stones. His workshop moved to Flesselles, 10 km from Amiens. Before you come to see it, make an appointment.

It is possible to visit by appointment the exhibition of ceramics, sandstone, raku and Cristallisation of Jacky Mérigeau, which also organises courses during weekends and school holidays (120 € every two days). The opportunity to initiate the different techniques of filming, enamelling and cooking. You will leave with your own room after the internship: pot, bombonnière, vase…

The town of Ponchon allowed between 1820 and 1920 to tile mills. They are used until the second half of the th century in the Parisian kitchens, they are also found in Emile Zola's house in Médan and that of Monet in Giverny. Tiles travel to the end of the world, exported to South America. Sylvie Thémereau studied graphic arts at the Higher school of applied arts Duperré in Paris with a ceramic option. When she arrived in Ponchon, she discovered the ancient production of faïence tiles and that is how she began breeding. It also features decorative panels, porcelain pieces, other creations such as vases, bowls and plates (from 15 €). She is assisted by Caroline Sobczak who works on enamelled sandstone objects. Also exposed are the recovery objects of Jean-Paul Beaugé for Artdenfer: lighting, small furniture…

Originally from Amiens, Alice Declercq is a graduate of the Ecole Supérieure des Arts Saint-Luc de Liège and specialises in the restoration of works of art. She opens her workshop, affiliated to the Chambre des Métiers et de l'Artisanat, in 2015. In 2019, she obtains the title of Artisan d'Art and the label Charte Qualité Confiance. So you can be sure that your ceramic, plaster, glass or enamelled metal object is in very good hands! Alice gives a second life to objects and brings them back to life thanks to her almost magical knowledge and know-how! She also offers introductory courses for all those who would like to discover this beautiful world from the inside.
