Formerly Health and Maintenance of Elderly Persons at Home (SMDPA), the structure consists of health care providers, nurses and medical professionals, to deliver home care to persons in loss of autonomy: elderly persons or in situations of disability. It intervenes for lifting, coucher, health care and health care and monitoring of the state of the person. Nantes home care employs 135 to 140 people to care for about 350 people per day. It covers the sectors of Nantes Chantenay, Beaulieu and Bridge du Mora, except Nantes-Erdre and Doulon-Bottière.

The CCAS is open to people experiencing occasional or recurring financial difficulties or housing problems. This assistance takes the form of personalized support vouchers. These are issued on a quarterly basis. Homeless people can also apply to the CCAS to have a postal address, so that they can receive mail to be collected during opening hours. Please note that requests cannot be received by e-mail. All requests must be made by the person concerned when visiting the CCAS.
