Since 2004, the Pays du Perche Sarthois has been supported by the Syndicat mixte du Pays du Perche Sarthois. The member structures are the four Communities of Municipalities that make up its territory and the Sarthe County Council, which makes it a mixed syndicate called open and constituted for an unlimited period. Its headquarters are in La Ferté-Bernard and its skills include the development of tourism in this territory with its rich potential. The Association for the Promotion of Wood in Pays de la Loire, brings together nearly 450 professionals, federations and organisations. Directly at the roots of this noble material, it is at the origin of trade shows, professional and general public events (such as the Carrefour du Bois and the Salon Maison Bois) and events with a growing reputation. Atlanbois develops actions around major themes such as forests and resources, wood energy, wood construction, training, events and communication. It's a good place to start before you get started. In 2013, it inaugurated Building B, on the Ile de Nantes, near the Machines de l'île. This unique oval-shaped building serves as a showcase for the industry and houses exhibitions and a resource centre with information on timber construction, wood energy and training.
