In this FFCV approved sand yacht school, sand yachting is practiced from 8 years old. It is easy to drive, easy to rig, and fun is guaranteed from the very first session. Equipped with a helmet, you will appreciate the feeling of gliding and freedom, not to mention the magnificent panorama. The school offers training courses or discovery sessions. Several sites of rolling: L'Épine and especially on the commune of Barbâtre which has the most beautiful beaches for the practice of this activity, but the school is transported with the liking of the winds and the tide.

Training courses in light sailing or on habitables. Sail on optimist, 12 feet catamarans, Topaze, HC 16. Come and perfect your windsurfing skills or on a 10m catamaran, for 7 people and a skipper. Weekly, daily and half-day courses. For children, first experiences with water sports at Jardin des Mers. Catamaran rental, windsurfing, sea kayak, paddle. Other activities: hiking, fishing with identification of the marine fauna.

Three nautical bases organized on 3 sites: Fromentine, the Grande Côte, the Porteau. The different sailing areas of the sailing school of La Barre-de-Monts/Fromentine welcome people who practice nautical activities such as sailing (catamarans), sand yachting, kayaking. Its vast beaches open at low tide make it easy to practice sand yachting all year round, from 8 years old (like kayaking), alone or in pairs (two-seater sand yachting). Two other activities: kite flying and kite cart, which consists in pulling a kite from a sand yacht.

This club proposes to introduce to the pleasures of sailing through different activities: sailing school, sports, school sailing, internships, competition… From March to November, it is Isabelle who guides the school sail for the surrounding schools and groups. Every weekend of this period, the Sailing Club is open to equipment rental: canoes, sailboats, sailboats, catamarans… In the summer, the club hosts holiday camps and also offers the Descentes descentes. The departure is made in The Charter on the Loir.

If you want to learn water sports, the Ocean Players Sailing School is on the beach of Le Bouil. Qualified instructors will teach you the rudiments of sailing through introductory or advanced courses, on different supports: windsurfing, catamaran for children and adults, and private foiling lessons. For those who are experienced in these exercises, we also offer equipment rental: catamaran, windsurfing, but also kayak and paddle. And also yoga classes. The equipment is of high quality and is changed every 3 years.

Specialized in windsurfing, Wave School offers beginners and advanced windsurfers: courses, training courses, equipment rental, paddle. Special courses for children, with a lightweight board to learn in a fun way. The singularity of this school: a Windfoil center, a board equipped with a foil. The windfoil is the latest evolution of windsurfing, it will bring you a pure and light gliding sensation above the water. You are a windsurfer, you sail with your feet in the straps: you can fly! What a pleasure on the water!

Located in Baie de la Pipe, 10 minutes from the port, the Ile d'Yeu sailing school is ideally situated on the beach. A wide choice of courses and services for all ages, supervised by qualified instructors. From catamaran to kayak, windsurfing to Hobie Cat and stand-up paddle. And a new discipline, offered as a course or by the session: wingfoil! There are also courses for children and a chance to discover the marine environment with Jardin des Mers.

The municipal sailing school is located on the beach of La Normandelière. Initiation and improvement courses, where private lessons in various nautical activities: Optimist, catamaran, windsurfing or kayaking. The base also welcomes groups and sea classes, it also provides equipment rental: catamaran, windsurfing, kayak and paddle. The sailing school also offers leisure sailing activities on Wednesdays and Saturdays from April to June and from September to November. New: windsurffoil, windsurfing board equipped with a foil.

O'Abandonado offers sea outings aboard an old 1916 coaster for 18 passengers. Two-hour daytime and sunset cruises. Sea class, group and seminar outings are also organized. Every Sunday in July and August, take part in our day trips to the Ile du Pilier, a unique site where you can discover its history and monuments. Boat rental available for groups.

Crowned "Top club" in 2020 and 2021 by the French Sailing Federation, the Fort Saint-Pierre Nautical Center offers various formulas for learning to sail or improving your sailing skills in a superb setting and under ideal conditions. Weekly courses: sea garden (4-6 years), Optimist, dinghy, windsurfing, catamaran... Private lessons (all types of boats including wingfoil), family outings in a collective sailboat, multi-activity courses for teenagers, paddle outings, etc.

This multi-sailing school is located on Plage des Dames, right next to La Potinière restaurant, and offers fully independent rental of catamarans, dinghies, sea kayaks, paddles and giant paddles. But if you're not up to speed with these nautical activities, you can also take private, introductory or advanced lessons with state-certified instructors (BPJEPS) in the following disciplines: paddle, catamaran and dinghy. Every Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., there's a supervised kayak trip.

The Albatross, under the direction of Philippe Naulleau, welcomes you in the beautiful setting of La Baule-Pornichet bay. The hotel is a beach club for children and a sailing school. The club offers you many activities: The Pass-Albatros (from 6 years old) with sailing in the morning and beach club in the afternoon, sailing baptisms, special courses, boat rentals for free outings, kayak and paddle rental, different formulas for groups and training or development courses.
