BUTTES-CHAUMONT

Jogging Running
4/5
1 review

Be careful, running at Buttes-Chaumont is reserved for those who are nostalgic for the mountain and who like painful climbs for their thighs and descents that melt and creak their knees. The steepest park in Paris requires a good physical condition to dare to trot, but with a little training, why not try the experience... In contrast to the French gardens, the Buttes-Chaumont surprise by the regular appearance of landscapes often represented in painting. The small temple of Sybil, which stands on the rocky island in the middle of the lake, is a replica of the temple of Tivoli. The 5.5 kilometres of track and 2.2 kilometres of road offer many opportunities for runners. Enjoy the view from the 30-metre high cliff and visit the lake cave with its fake stalactites.
