FOIRE DU TRÔNE
Read moreYoung and old alike have been looking forward to this event for decades! In fact, the Foire du Trône is nothing new. It used to be called the Gingerbread Fair. Today, this huge funfair is located on the Pelouse de Reuilly in the 12th arrondissement, on the edge of the Bois de Boulogne. It features over 350 attractions on a 10-hectare site, and lasts for around two months. The best way to get there is by public transport, as parking in the area is not easy.

Organized by the Ligue Auvergnate et du Massif-Central, the event is also the occasion to elect the new Pastourelle, a young girl in regional costume, rewarded for her knowledge of her region and its history.

A convivial and gourmet gathering that attracts more than 50,000 visitors at each edition.
