New development in the expansion of offers around the huge airport complex Charles de Gaulle: . A gigantic shopping centre in the name you can easily remember, it was opened on 16 October 2013. Initially planned to attract travellers from the airport, but also the tens of thousands of employees of the platform, the first findings show that it is also attended by very many premises. A massive glass block located on the edge of the main traffic routes, in addition to a hypermarket Auchan, takes place as a place of many fashionable brands, restaurants, a cinema. No fewer than 200 businesses are here. Only caveat: accessibility. Choose the right time to go, because if many paths lead to Aéroville, they are frequently saturated.

FNAC PARIS - TERNES

General bookshop
4.5/5
2 reviews

One of the most beautiful Fnacs in Paris if not the most breathtaking! One remains in admiration in front of the place invested by the famous chain of cultural products which has established itself in a large Art Deco building whose curves and canopies in glass and wrought iron recall the most beautiful hours of architecture in the early 20th century. With its rotunda and dome, once used by department stores in the spirit of "Happiness of the ladies", here a 1912 vintage, Fnac des Ternes is a curiosity. Once the door is opened, the extraordinary emerges: shelves of books, DVDs, tickets, high-tech products and even high-end small electrical appliances... in a place where the eyes meet Belle Époque stained glass windows by Jacques Grüber... You should not hesitate to visit this Fnac, and especially to climb the floors to admire these architectural masterpieces in an exceptional state of conservation. We will flatter the time saving with all these products gathered in one place where we can come back to hesitate, especially for the beauty of the place. And of course, meet your favorite writers or artists for signing sessions organized throughout the year.

Fnac is a national reference in the world of great cultural distribution. Founded in 1954 by Max Théret and André Essel, it has not always been the cultural temple we know today. Originally, the principle was simple: the creation of books for individuals so that they get discounts from the merchants listed. In order for all domains to be represented and the photo signs did not wish to participate in this list, Max Théret and André Essel create their own Photography company. It is important to note the enormous success of the latter and the large proportion of frameworks that contribute to it. The idea of giving a more cultural dimension at Fnac germe in their minds. The National Procurement Federation becomes the National Procurement Federation. The first store opens in the 60 s, Sevastopol boulevard in Paris. Culture then tends to become democratic and the products proposed are diversifying. The librairie was created in 1974. Now very complete, we find all the domains of publishing, from cooking manuals to tourist guides through literature, humanities, beautiful books, etc. It is therefore almost impossible not to find the book you are looking for. If this is the case, one of the booksellers will be happy to order it. As you will have understood, "Fnac: we can only join '!

UNIQLO

Boutique mode femme
3.6/5
7 reviews

The first store of the Japanese giant opened at Defence in 2007. The second store of Scribe street is in the inner walls. The store offers a casual and urban style at affordable prices. Among the most popular products, you will find very good denims (about 40 €) slim cuts, wide or straight and the famous UT T-Shirt (20 €) sold in translucent cans. It is also possible to find on the shelf, models and basic cuts that each have a small detail that makes them irresistible fashion trend. You will love the soft cashmere sweaters as well as simple and chic dresses (between 30 € and 70 €). Japanese service does not diminish the pleasure of dressing according to mode for a very reasonable price. Compared to the two clothing giants known as Gap or H &M, Uniqlo does not intend to stop there and by 2019, it will open over 4,000 stores including 3,000 outside of Japan. Paris should also have some stores. The success of Uniqlo in Japan and the world is dazzling. This subsidiary of Fast Retailing Tadashi Yanai became famous in a record time. The quality of its products, the moderate prices it offers, its studied lines (Jil Sander has been there), but also reliable partnerships (Orla Kiely, Undercover, Andrea Crews have associated their name to the brand) have catapulted the brand to higher rankings.

You are now in the global showcase of Louis Vuitton! To mark the occasion, the brand has seen things on a large scale: windows sigled and intertwined LV, and according to the events of the brand, giant briefcase outside the shop recalling the flagship product of the house... Inside, it is glare with architectural luxury debaucher: several floors, a bright escalator, moucharabieh walls always sigled LV, vintage creations hung on the ceiling, books, clothes... Nothing is missing!  Well-known by tourists, this shop does not always full and is still taken over by the Chinese or Japanese spree who come to buy a pair of some items of the brand... Some even offer to Parisian passers-by to shop for them for a financial reward, the brand limits purchases per person to prevent resale out of control... You will understand, Vuitton is subject to all the speculation. Parisians will prefer to escape this madness and go a few hundred meters away to the store at Montaigne avenue. The crowd is not as strong. Aesthetes grow curiousity until the Fondation Louis Vuitton. Inaugurated in November 2014 and created by the philanthropist Bernard Arnault, the owner of the brand, it is both a contemporary art museum and an auditorium located at 8 avenue du Mahatma Gandhi in the 16th arrondissement.

REPETTO

Shoe store

Slippers for small rats? It is by rubbing the dance slippers of his son Rolland Petit that Rose Repetto creates the technique of "sewn". That is? The sole is sewn back before being returned. A technique that provides incomparable comfort and flexibility to dance slippers. Rose Repetto founded his house in 1947. Acclamation by dancers from all countries, the famous ballerinas combine comfort, simplicity and aesthetics. It is for these reasons that the slippers were quickly pulled out of the dance rooms to be adopted as shoes. Near the Paris Opera House, in the mythical Peace Street boutique, you will find limited editions of painted leather and many other treasures that have attracted stars around the world for generations… But it's our Brigitte Bardot that we have to discover these ballerinas by wearing them in 1956 in the movie of Roger Vadim And God created the woman. You can also talk about Serge Gainsbourg white Repetto who described them as "gloves for the feet"… Everything is summed up by the great poet! The brand has since developed a range of ready-to-wear for women, always inspired by the dance universe, as well as an eponymous perfume and even leather leather from bag to pouch.

A beautiful and pretty independent neighbourhood bookstore, as we like them! The choice here is very wide, and many literary fields are covered. The staff's favourites will be duly presented and proposed to you (but not only!) and the place also offers events on a regular basis, starting with meetings with authors. The extracurricular department is also well provided, and the bookshop offers a very efficient website. We love it!
