Launched in 1985 on the Karachi route, the airline of the emirate of Dubai is today a carrier of excellence serving more than 157 destinations and operating more than 270 aircraft. Cameroon's newest airline, Cameroon Airlines Corporation (Camair-Co), began operations in early 2011. It offers domestic and international (within Africa) flights. CamairCo has discontinued its flights to Paris. For domestic flights, Camair-Co is the benchmark, serving Yaoundé, Douala, Bafoussam, Bamenda, as well as the main towns in the north of the country, Garoua and Maroua, with regular frequency and attractive fares. Flights are comfortable and offer safety and service on board.
