This is the direct competitor of the TGV, which has arrived on the Paris-Lyon (France's busiest line) and Paris-Milan routes. Their red trains, the "Frecciarossa", offer 4 ranges of comfort, above-average service and fares that remain very reasonable for the service provided. Competition is therefore fierce.

It's one of three stations in the Ermont area: the Gros Noyer - Saint Prix est station serves the Gros Noyer district and the nearby commune of Saint -Prix. Served by line H, it lies between Saint-Leu la Forêt and Ermont-Halte stations. It boasts a modern passenger building, and is linked to the rest of the region by frequent bus services. From here, it's a 40-minute journey to Gare du Nord.

Between Taverny and Saint-Leu-la-Forêt stations, the small Vaucelles station is served by trains on the H line. The building was renovated around ten years ago, and there's a ticket office where you can buy your ticket. Every day, between 5 a.m. and around 11 p.m., dozens of trains take you to Valmondois in one direction, and Ermont-Eaubonne and Gare du Nord in the other. Although the station building is no longer directly accessible, self-service ticket machines are available. There's a small parking lot in front of the station, and it's also linked to other districts and towns in the area by a bus network.
