The Lavender Festival has been reviving Quercy lavender since 2018, and has enabled the village of Martel and the surrounding area to see new lavender growers set up shop. Breathe in these voluptuous scents through the streets all weekend long! You'll be able to take part in a wide range of workshops on picking, distilling and collective planting of lavender. You can also enjoy a natural market with local producers or a musical aperitif!

For runners, the GRP is a bit like the Grail. Marathon runners from all over the world come here every year and the event is anything but confidential! It must be said that the environment, as splendid as it is harsh, looks incredibly challenging and more than 4,000 of them face it every year. The formula is the right one, but you still have to choose your own: winter version, the cold is there, especially with three departures and three distances to Pla d'Adet in the resort of Saint-Lary-Soulan. An offer that includes the 10, 20 and 30 kilometres with a difference in altitude ranging from 700 to 2,000 metres! In summer, don't think that the deal is easier, it's the mythical meeting with four distances and a challenge in four stages. Tour du Néouvielle of 43 kilometres, tour of the lakes of 82 kilometres, tour of the Cirques of 123 kilometres and the famous Ultra Tour of 167 kilometres, to be done alone or in a trio relay: the Louron valley is a playground open to the experienced! The three-day race is another way to tackle the mountains and the youngest are finally on board with the all-new P'tit Tour open to children. The twelfth edition will still be exceptional, let's not provide it.

A great gourmet event of the summer between Bouzigues, Mèze and Marseillan, the Oyster Festival is an opportunity to celebrate these three pearls of the Thau Archipelago, which is a mecca for oyster production in the lagoon, and even on a national level. Thousands of people flock to enjoy the organized celebrations. They enjoy beautiful tables, tastings, various animations, shows, jousting tournaments, dances... The festivities end with a fireworks display that makes the lagoon shine.

Two days of celebration in the alleys and courtyards of Montcuq. Puppets, new circus, poetic clowns, theater of objects or more "classical" theater, readings, tales, concerts, the program is as rich as possible. A children's village takes place from 10 am to 7 pm with a refreshment bar, a varied and quality catering, playful and creative workshops, as well as animations. The shows are scattered throughout the city. The program is spread out over the whole day for real moments of family sharing.

The Transhumance festival brings life to the small village of Seix in June. You too can accompany the herds (sheep, cattle, horses, Mérens) into the mountains on five different itineraries during this traditional rendezvous. Don't miss one of the highlights of the weekend in the heart of the village: the Grand Parade of the herds, with bandas and folk groups. And to round off the day, join in the Shepherds' Meal with live music!

Cubières-sur-Cinoble takes you back to the 1900s for a day. You'll be able to retrace the lives of your grandparents and great-grandparents, as they lived through the 4 seasons, with demonstrations and activities based on working the land. The villagers invite you to come and discover the prowess of the trades of yesteryear: pen-and-ink writing, vintage vehicles, clog-makers, bakers, mills, hooping, wheat threshing, washerwomen... a veritable open-air museum, accompanied by entertainment, a festive meal and a traditional dance.

For years, Thursday evenings in summer have been enlivened by the tradition of a large popular banquet in Carla-Bayle. In the heart of the village, the Place de l'Europe comes alive with the pastel colors of its houses and the amazement of onlookers. Enjoy free concerts on this pretty square, large, lively and convivial tables with plates of local produce... and join in the dancing in the middle of the crowd! Book your Thursday summer evenings at Le Carla, a great excuse to party!

Firmly rooted in the traditions of Vallespir, this festival attracts a crazy world every year. In the pagan ritual of the passage from winter to spring, two men dressed as bears enter the village, chasing onlookers and terrorizing young girls. The hunters then organize a hunt and the chase begins through the streets of the village until the final capture and the mock execution... while the crowd celebrates and dances. Unique and fantastic!

Since 1997, this small Gard village has been the setting for a film festival like no other. The program includes street events, exhibitions, photo competitions and, of course, film screenings on subjects closely related to the festival theme. Aficionados can have the joy or the emotion of rediscovering a race, a final, a gold medal, etc., as well as discovering testimonies, news reports and more. They can also discover testimonies, reports on the life of a manade, village festivals... A real pleasure.

The centre for Choreographic Development of Toulouse-Midi-Pyrénées organizes this event featuring contemporary dance performances from France and elsewhere.

In Castelnau-Barbarens, we always look forward to the famous Rondèu de Castelnau, which brings Gascon music performances to the medieval streets around the church, as well as balls and meals where everyone gathers in contagious good spirits! The festival puts regional culture in the spotlight, with traditional dance and music workshops, dance demonstrations and concerts by local groups. The Salon du Vin in Mende puts Occitanie wines in the spotlight for two days in June. You'll be able to meet some thirty local winegrowers and producers, who'll be offering sales and tastings, and, as tradition dictates, the red wine competition will reward the best vintages! Numerous workshops and events will punctuate the weekend, including a chocolate workshop, a cheese and wine workshop, a tasting of the winning wines and a festive meal with live music... Lovers of wine and local produce have come to the right place!

A true institution in this pottery village, this artistic event is awaited by all craftsmen, amateurs and enthusiasts of ceramic art and contemporary creation. In the heart of the village, an initiatory and artistic path invites you to discover, in unusual, unusual and private places, the surprising creations of about twenty European ceramic artists. This festival is also an opportunity to take advantage of participative workshops and to learn about pottery!

Active since 2001, the Toulouse-based association Les Vidéophages is a leading figure in the distribution of short films and image education. A genuine alternative in the audiovisual landscape, its programming is atypical, friendly and associative. Favoring partnerships with local authorities, cultural centers and educational structures, Vidéophages plays an active role in democratizing access to short films. The Faites de l'Image festival, launched in 2002, is emblematic of this desire to take images out of their context and reach out to all audiences.

It is dedicated to traditions, but its reputation has made it a festive custom not to be missed: the Sunday following the 15th of August is every year the rendez-vous of Loudenvielle where agro-pastoralism and local crafts are celebrated. On the banks of the magnificent Genos lake, discover the delicacies of a territory that lacks neither flavour nor character. More than 90 exhibitors reveal the best of a mountain that can be sung, danced and tasted... without counting the cost!

When the kids have their party, you can say that it moves! Imagine a real mountain village transformed into a village dedicated to games. From the thermal park to the town centre, the show is everywhere. The little ones can't leave the twenty or so huge inflatable structures. A park of games of skill and wooden games is set up. In February of each year, 3 Catalan villages in the Pyrénées-Orientales region celebrate a very old carnival festival, which has now become a traditional festival: the Bear Festival. The origin of these festivities lies in the legend of a ferocious bear who, in search of a mate, decides to kidnap a local girl. In Arles-sur-Tech, Prats-de-Mollo-La-Preste and Saint-Laurent-de-Cerdans, you'll have the chance to attend a unique, festive and transgressive event in the heart of the Catalan countryside, where you can rediscover local customs such as the sardana.

Since 2021 in November, the Metropole of Montpellier has been organizing Les Rencontres Vigneronnes to showcase the region's producers. You're invited to discover their best wines in the cellars and estates around Montpellier. In a festive and convivial atmosphere, everything has been thought of to ensure that you have a pleasant time during your discovery of wine: visits to cellars and vineyards, oenological advice, tasting workshops, entertainment, walks...

In the past, this gourmet event was called "Les Estivales" and was held in Montpellier city center. O'Millésimes has now been relocated to the magnificent Domaine d'O, so you can enjoy a toast in the open air, but a little cooler! This gastronomic festival takes place over two weekends in the summer, and all lovers of local produce will gather for tastings and concerts, a night market teeming with tasty local dishes and wines, crafts, meetings, conferences and workshops.

In this emblematic architectural and heritage venue in Toulouse's Saint-Cyprien district, on the banks of the Garonne River, the Fragments show invites you to discover the region's arts and crafts. A total of 80 exhibitors, representing 13 departments, will be on hand to share their passion with you. You'll find a wide range of crafts: furniture, architecture, jewelry, restoration, ceramics, leather, metal, goldsmiths, paper, textiles, glass...

This event invites you to discover all the specialities of the Canal du Midi region, from Carcassonne to Sète. During this gourmet event, you'll be able to taste not only the best wines, but also the finest products: honey, truffles, foie gras, melon, oysters, shellfish and more, among the hundreds of culinary specialities produced on the banks of the Canal. And don't forget that this is a solidarity event to benefit the replanting of the Canal du Midi with Voies Navigables de France.

The Coteaux de Quercy Wine Festival brings together the winegrowers of the Coteaux de Quercy to promote their wines in a convivial atmosphere. You're invited to taste the local vintages and, after the Confrérie's induction of new members, you and your family can enjoy a range of activities: demonstrations of ancient crafts, archery, children's workshops, giant and traditional wooden games, inflatable games, a culinary workshop and, last but not least, the aperitif-concert!

Artisan chocolatiers, patissiers and other food professionals - over 40 exhibitors in all - will be celebrating chocolate in all its forms at this 3-day show. Artisans and producers from the Tarn region invite you to discover their delicious products at the Fête des Tarnivores in Albi! In Limogne-en-Quercy, basket markets are part of the truffle tradition, and this event offers lovers of this rare gem the chance to fill their baskets. Summer truffles don't have the same culinary value as winter black truffles, and are less expensive. Enthusiasts know that they're a delight on salted butter toast as an aperitif or in an omelette! The appointment is at 10 a.m. sharp, because sales start immediately and it sometimes happens that everything is sold out within a few minutes!

Every year, the town of Port-La Nouvelle comes alive for its anniversary! Celebrated on 21 July - the date on which the commune was officially proclaimed in 1844 - it is punctuated by musical entertainment and an impressive firework display. While waiting for the first bursts of light around 10.30pm, the curious can count on the Trait d'union Périer band to provide the atmosphere from the Place Saint-Charles.

Physical training is all year round: whether it is raining, selling or snowing! If the motivation is not always high in winter, here is an activity that should quickly change your mind: cross-country skiing! The Domaine de Mourtis, located less than two hours from Toulouse, has a Nordic area with 45 kilometres of slopes, at varying levels of difficulty. No doubt you can only delight in admiring Lady Nature in her white coat… And if you are rather snowshoes, you will also find for rent in the area.

Every year as autumn arrives, the rue de la Colombette gets coloured: it's time to gather around a fair that has existed since 1944. It is organised by the Commune Libre de la Colombette, founded at the end of the war, which defends the craftsmen and independent shopkeepers of the district. For three days, in a joyful street market with more than two hundred exhibitors, meet shopkeepers and cultural associations involved in concerts, workshops and events. The spirit that reigns honours craftsmanship, eco-responsible behaviour, sharing... A real compendium of joie de vivre at Toulouse time!

Top start in Aragon! We have selected for you the N ° 4 circuit, adapted at all levels and ideal with family. You're making progress in a quiet way on a path that is not leveled, with garrigue in the foreground, Pyrénées and Black Mountain in the second. It is possible at the end of the day after the work, or afternoon at weekends. On the way, take a break in front of the church of Fraisse-Cabardès, and admire the Capservy Abbey slightly further.

Winter, cold, snow… If it discouraged you so far to continue your physical training, we have found two activities that should motivate you: cross-country skiing and snowshoes! Rather than taking the elements, is it not more pleasant to take the advantage?

In the heart of the Cevennes National Park, the Domaine du Mas de la Bateau offers 28 kilometres of Nordic ski slopes drawn in alternative and skating, as well as 3 routes of snowshoes. If you know the landscapes of Mount Lozere and the Cassini peak in summer, discover them under their great white coat, you can only be seduced…

Accessible to all sportsmen and women, this short green lane connects the Magdelaine-sur-Tarn in Villemur-sur-Tarn with the old refurbished railway, and serves the municipality of Villematier. Before leaving, we invite you to visit the village of La-sur-Tarn, paying special attention to its pigeon pigeon and church. Villemur-sur-Tarn has arrived at the destination and is also worthy of attention: The Defence Tower and the Greniers du Roy are, among other things, an inescapable one.
