The Municipal Theatre, in the heart of Escutcheon, is the right lung of culture in Nîmes. Guy Labory was a saxophonist from Nîmes who created the jazz club of Nîmes which has over 200 concerts to its credit. Today, the Labory Jazz Club production brings together jazz musicians of national and international level, under its own label. The LJC offers concerts and types of events, not to mention the annual three-day "tribute to Guy Labory" festival. The bodega of the Poet, rue Thoumayne, is the historical place of their concerts, which are becoming more and more regular.

The Association for a Popular Theatre, which enters its 46 ^th season in Nîmes, develops a dynamic and dynamic activity for the benefit of loyal spectators. The major scenes of the city (the Odéon, the Municipal Theatre or Christian Ligier) welcome a year-round, dense and demanding progammation. With its hundred or so musicians, the Orchestre National du Capitole, under the artistic direction of Tugan Sokhiev since 2005, is one of the best French orchestras. It performs the symphonic season at the Halle aux Grains as well as the lyrical season at the Théâtre du Capitole with a rich program all year long, and participates in numerous tours throughout Occitania as well as internationally, while being a guest of numerous festivals.

The second largest cinematheque in France, this institution was created in 1958 by a handful of collectors. One of the few theatres in Aveyron is an Italian theatre with the programming of Cultural Associations in the Region.

Formerly a spinning mill built in 1873, it has now become an attractive venue for a wide variety of artistic events. If you want to sing a song, go to Chorus! This concert hall, located in Croix-de-Pierre, welcomes you around tapas boards in a very friendly and unpretentious atmosphere. Here, we welcome you at happy hour and the program follows, between young emerging talent or confirmed artist, open stage, then it's up to you to take the microphone (on Wednesdays). You choose your song and off you go! The long room, in a beautiful red color, is equipped with comfortable benches and the sound is great.

Nina, a dancer/actress, and Tony, restaurateur and artist, have taken over this small restaurant and turned it into a concept cabaret. Feathered ceilings, red walls, a high table, a large cocktail bar... In this hushed atmosphere, you'll discover a variety of artists: dancers, comedians, singers, magicians, contortionists... The Puits de Jour is the place to be for Lauzertine parties. The stage is trodden several times a weekend by visiting artists, from the most illustrious to the completely unknown, in a wide variety of styles, often off the beaten track. The owner and programmer (Matthieu), himself a musician, has equipped the place so that the artists can perform in real professional conditions, and each concert is recorded. Every first Friday of the month, after the concert, the stage is open for those who want to try their hand.

A small subsidised theatre behind the Carré d'Art which programs the creation of professional and amateur troops, readings of contes tales, modern clowns. On the banks of the Place Aristide Briand, this cinema has three theaters showing art house films, young audience screenings and original version movies. This establishment also takes part in local events and festivals by proposing special projections, meetings, animations... During the summer, we particularly appreciate the Cinema of the Sea, at the Theater of the Sea, where the cinemas of Sete propose projections under the stars: a magic moment around the seventh art.

In 22 years, the old hangars of the railway station have experienced many of the passionate people who have committed themselves to a goal: offer a true cultural location in the valley, open to all audiences and brought by quality programming. Le Taquin is the place for jazz lovers! But beyond this music, the hall is also widely open to current music. Between 3 and 5 concerts per week, from Wednesday to Sunday, to liven up your evening. Many talented artists are on the bill: Freddy Taquine, Red Cardell, the Nicolas Gardel Quartet... The Taquin also welcomes visual artists, photographers to exhibit and offers you to have a bite to eat with a drink (3 new dishes every week and a vegetarian option...). A child of the country (a talent of the land), nicknamed Doumé, with his punk style, and an alternative group Les Marto's Pikeurs, fully at 100%, created the ID ID to promote audois and regional artists. From day to night, this site is simply fabulous. Rare and a soul that has gone through the years, there is a bit of magic that awaits you at the end of the tree tree tree. Twenty years ago, the Rio Grande Association invested this former Art and trial cinema in the Villebourbon district, near the train station. The cinema has become a showroom, with up to 800 spectators. It is the preferred place of dissemination of the so-called current music on the department, with both eclectic and coherent programming. But the association is also very dedicated to project support and the dissemination of young local talents, in partnership with all local cultural and cultural fabric.

This 800 m 2 room has nothing to envy the most famous cultural sites due to a rich season, proposed every year from November to April. In a modern setting, it can accommodate a little more than 900 people and thanks to the eclectic programming of the Mirande tourist office, they are every time taken over. Specialized in the rental of its beautiful reception room adapted to all family and professional events (wedding, birthday, seminars, cocktails…), this charming area offers a space of 260 square metres, which can accommodate up to 160 guests. A nice guest room will be presented to you if you wish to finish your evening with serenity. It is also possible to plant its tent canvas on the sites reserved for this purpose. The terrace, with a capacity of 200 people, is ideal for your cocktails. The view of the ponds and vineyards is truly superb. Every second Friday of the month, come and relax in After Work, from 19 am to 1 am. 

A former wine storehouse, this theater has 150 seats and hosts various shows: plays, concerts, readings, performances...which end with meetings with the artists in the adjoining Cantine, over a glass of wine or a good soup. This beautiful cultural and poetic space in the middle of the countryside also welcomes school children, and Michèle, who is also a director, leads workshops. Pierre, who is a scenographer, is in charge of the stage management and the scenery.

Le Parvis, recognized as a center for contemporary art and a national stage in France, also shines as an avant-garde cinema. The two-screen complex, classified as an art house cinema, has 300 seats. It offers a varied program of auteur and animated films, previews with prestigious guests, and special screenings for young people. Le Parvis also offers themed evenings, ciné brunches and collector's evenings combining cinema and gastronomy. This dynamic cultural hub is a benchmark in the département.

This art house cinema offers a program for young audiences and films for all audiences. Throughout the year, the place is animated by various events promoting access to the cinema for all: toddlers, schoolchildren, seniors, deaf and hard of hearing people... The Cinémistral is located in a beautiful house with a garden in the center of Frontignan. The establishment has 140 seats and is a dynamic, friendly, cultural place where it is good to go with family, friends, or solo. We take part in evening debates, we meet each other.

Le Cratère, located in the heart of the city, is Alès' largest concert hall, seating 800. Comedians, concerts, plays, dance, screenings during the film festival... As a national stage, the Cratère hosts top-notch contemporary French and European shows, and also gives pride of place to local artists. The institution also presents Cratère Espace, an itinerant program covering 23 towns in the region, and has created Cratère Surface, a street art festival that is a must-see in June.

The cinema Le Taurus is an establishment classified "Art et Essai" and labeled "Jeune public". Its programming is aimed at everyone, young and old, who love the seventh art. On the program, we discover well selected independent films and we also find great current productions. Animated throughout the year, this cinema also offers themed screenings and meetings such as: ciné-concert, ciné-débat, ciné-pitchoun, ciné-culte, ciné-goûter..

When this theatre was created in 1964, its mission was to host the Centre Dramatique National du Sud-Ouest. Quickly taken over by the Toulouse City Hall, it has known many adventures for several decades. Since 2016, the management has been in the hands of Sébastien Bournac, director of the Tabula Rasa company. Its programming is intended to be multidisciplinary, combining the great classics of the repertoire revisited and contemporary writings. In parallel, the Sorano supports the projects of artists in residence and associated companies. On stage, theatre of course, but also dance, singing or even circus. Cultural venues of this kind are precious in the region. Since spring 2017, La Moba, with a capacity of 350 people, has been run by a dozen music enthusiasts of all kinds. A good fifty concerts later, the place, ideally located on the Canal du Midi, regularly welcomes small local underground groups, but also workshops and thematic conferences. The must is the yoga and pilates classes, a multi-generation reference in the heart of the city that Karine offers for the release of happiness hormones...

La Grainerie is the Toulouse factory dedicated to the circus arts and itinerancy. It offers multiple facets to permanent and guest artists thanks to its rehearsal studios, its creation rooms, its set-making workshop... It also hosts artists-in-residence and dance workshops.
