Poterie Friedmann has been in existence since 1802. The family is therefore Soufflenheim's oldest traditional potter. Today, the seventh generation has succeeded in preserving tradition while modernizing production. These objects are made from pure Soufflenheim clay, which withstands high temperatures. The beautiful round daubières can withstand gas. Decoration is carried out using the barolet, a small earthen vessel with a hollowed-out quill containing the colored engobes. You can visit the workshop any day of the week.

We liked the Bôcal, we were worried when we knew it was moving. When we walked through the door, we were reassured and clearly, we loved this new place. The manager has given her local arts and crafts store an atmosphere conducive to the discovery of pieces of furniture, accessories, decorative objects, lighting and jewelry. Francis Beaumont is a cabinetmaker and thommessen of furniture. With its company, BEAUMONT FURNITURE, it offers a complete service in the design and decoration of your interior: tapestry for the renovation of your seats (traditional linen trim) and cabinetmaking for the restoration of your furniture. He also designs and carries out seats, joining his two know-how, to offer you original and especially unique pieces.

Stéphane Prévot studied drawing and applied arts at Loritz high school in Nancy. After his baccalaureate, he went to art school in Paris. After graduating, he worked in a workshop in the Lorraine region before setting up his own business in 1994. His main activity is the creation of custom-made stained glass windows as well as the restoration of stained glass. He opens his workshop to the public and gives demonstrations. He explains the making of the stained glass, the cutting of the glass, the decoration, the firing and the lead setting. The craftsman organizes training courses on the manufacture of leaded stained glass. The stained-glass apprentices can also buy equipment and raw materials for the realization of their own creations. These master glassmakers, who have set up shop in a vaulted cellar nestled in a small interior courtyard, will show you their ancestral craft. Françoise and Jean-François Plüss have been working with clay for some forty years. In ceramics, porcelain, stoneware or raku, their work is highly original. Their works are unique, contemporary in spirit and inspired by nature. They use several types of clay: stoneware, chamotte or not, white or darker, porcelain. Turning produces utilitarian objects such as bowls, teapots, vases and boxes. Modelling creates bowls, sculptures, faces, animals and other creative objects.

Richard and Martine Osik, artisan craftsmen, self-taught, registered in the Chamber of Trades since 1985, welcome you in their lovely boutique that displays pottery clay made of sandstone clay from Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye in their workshops. Here we find all kinds of clay objects: Lamps, pots, dishes, decorations… of all colors, some news and others less. There is a lot for everyone.
