This large property with a well-stocked cellar and store also has one of the best restaurants in the area, The Winery Restaurant. Executive Chef Jason Parsons offers a five-course tasting menu for lunch and dinner, with a different wine accompanying each course (a la carte menu also available). A producer of excellent wines, this family vineyard welcomes its guests to a beautiful 1842 inn that once served as an access point to the Niagara Escarpment. Located across from Short Hills Provincial Park, the vineyard has picnic facilities and a beautiful terrace. In season, Couch House Café serves light meals and is distinguished by its trays of artisan cheeses from Quebec and Ontario, to be enjoyed on site or taken away for a picnic.

A state-of-the-art winery, it opened in the summer of 2004 and is run by winemaker Phillip Brown. The building's architecture is a real success: its loft-like stone lobby that separates the production area from the reception area is worth a visit on its own. Owned by John Howard, Megalomaniac is a winery that stands out for its name and its offbeat communication that gently mocks winery owners who put their names on their wines. A very nice property with a tasting room and pleasant wines in white and red, with some reserve and specialty wines (rosé, sparkling...). During your visit, we definitely recommend the guided wine tasting experience and a meal at their restaurant, Megalomaniac Food + Drink.

The kind of address where you can go with your girlfriends for tea, or with your children to spoil them with pink-candy pastries. You can also come and drink a delicious hot chocolate or buy macaroons worthy of the best Bordeaux pastries. As for the decor, it's tea time, Alice in Wonderland style. For chocolate lovers, it's impossible to miss this gourmet address. In their small store in the Distillery Historic District, you can see the treats being made before your eyes. The hot chocolate is a marvel; so are the cookies, truffles, butter toffees and gelati! It's simple, everything here is delicious and made with love. The owners of this family-owned ice cream shop are very vocal when it comes to mentioning the qualities of their ice creams. Let yourself be tempted! LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario) is a provincial government corporation with a network of more than 680 locations across the province. It's the place to stock up on wines - including the famous ice wine - and spirits. It also offers beer, including imported and microbrewery products. Housed in the old north end train station, this is by far the largest and most interesting store in Toronto.

Raise The Root is a small organic market in the Leslieville neighbourhood. Angela and JJ, the two owners, run this healthy, gourmet haven to promote healthy eating and the products of local farmers and producers.
