It's an incredible architectural ensemble: the 35-hectare Pôle Hippique de Saint-Lô boasts unrivalled facilities, including the former national stud farm and several riding arenas. A venue for prestigious events (equestrian shows and exhibitions such as the one dedicated to the Cadre Noir de Saumur in the summer of 2024), it is also a training and apprenticeship centre for lovers of the discipline, whatever their level. Near the old spa station, Danièle Fabbri offers you walks, equestrian games, horse riding and club ponies. Five training horses and ten Malthusian ponies are at your disposal for horseback riding lessons, dressage (on horseback or career) and outings in the Bois wood.

On the equipment side, Petit Dan stables have two rides (one of 42 x 20 m, the other of 30 x 20 m), a career of (40 x 20 m), a spring garden, and a safe road. Lyons'forest is an enchanting place for horse riding. Experienced riders can walk freely, with their horse or a club horse, without an attendant. The others will follow one of the group walks organized daily. Day trips are scheduled from April to September. Lyons's Etrier also takes your horses into a pension, whether they are leisure horses or fox hunting. There is a possibility to sleep on stage or/or take advantage of club-house to relax. Your mount will be abreuvée and hosted in box (10 € at night, food included) or at the meadow (3,50 € at night). Group home in July and August.

The Granville racecourse, located very close to the town, in Bréville-sur-Mer to be precise, is the antechamber of the great trotters of tomorrow: it is indeed on this 1,400-metre grassy track that many future racing champions train. But that's not all: in addition to the possibility of attending races, you will have the opportunity to eat here, children will enjoy the equestrian show and can even indulge in equestrian pleasures, starting with pony riding. The Conseil des Chevaux de Normandie is a non-profit association for the promotion of Normandy's equine excellence and the development of the industry (which represents 18,000 jobs). Born from the will of all the professionals of the equine sector to be organized regionally for the future, this association has a role of interface between the professionals of the horse in Normandy and the public and private institutions (communities and services of the State).

Located at the entrance to the former commune of Beaumont-Hague, the Hague Horse Riding Stadium is a wonderful complex for horse riding enthusiasts, whether they are novices in the field, more experienced, or simply spectators of competitions. The backbone of the complex, the rural horse-riding society, has more than a hundred members who ride and learn on no less than 12 hectares divided into three areas, two sandy and one grassy.

Lessons are given by a team of experienced instructors. The center also has a pony club to introduce children to horse riding from the age of 2. For more than 20 years, Equi Seinehas been highlighting the world of horses at the Rouen Exhibition Park. First of all, it is a big competition during which riders compete in several shows. It is also all kinds of educational demonstrations, to discover the world of the horse, and in particular the benefits of horse riding for the most fragile populations. La Cavalerie de Montchaton is an equestrian tourism center located in Orval sur Sienne. The center offers equestrian activities for the whole family in a friendly atmosphere that respects the well-being of the horses. La Cavalerie de Montchaton accepts payment by bank and postal cheques, vacation vouchers and cash. Parking and sanitary facilities are available. Groups are also welcome.
