Created by a group of enthusiastic friends, including Cellar Master Cyril Raveau and Brewmaster Guillaume Souloumiac, Brasserie de Flavigny produces 12,000 liters of beer a month from short-run raw materials. The beers produced are unique in that they are not fermented in the bottle. White, Blonde, IPA, winter beer, or even lemon or raspberry lager for summer, the choice is plethoric. LA CAVE RAVONNEAUX

Cave à bières
4.8/5

Closed - Open to 09h00

It was Jacques Ravonneaux who, in the 1980s, took over his uncle's small brewery business, leaving his job at Solvay. The small warehouse hidden behind the church has metamorphosed into a giant showcase since 2010 on more than 2,400 m2, not counting the shelving. Impossible to miss it, facing the airport, along the RN 73 between Tavaux and Dole. The Ravonneaux family has become one of the greatest French beer specialists. More than 1,300 references for sale! An impulse that we owe to Janine, the sister, but above all to Claude, both of whom disappeared too soon. Claude was nicknamed "the Pope of Beer"! The store's 400 m2 are divided into thematic modules: glassware (including beer bottles), party items, alcoholic beverages, whisky and rum cellar, wine cellar. The loose tea and coffee space tickles the nostrils as soon as you cross the threshold. The evenings come alive with tastings discovered during the year. The open house in April is always popular with both professionals and private individuals.

LE LOMBARD BAR

The Lombard Bar nestles in the vaulted cellar of the former Lombard cheese dairy. Here, or on the terrace, you can sample one of the hundred or so local beers available on the shelves. Aperitif boards are also available, as is a "resto'casionnel" serving meals (by reservation only). And Le Lombard Bar is also a boutique where you can buy a wide range of regional products. In short, we love this warm and friendly place, which brings the village and surrounding area to life from the very first fine days of the year.

At La Cave de Bourgogne, you'll find only wines from small producers, with priority given to those from Domaine Boyer. Discover 50 local references: Meursault, Auxey-Duresses, Chorey-lès-Beaune, Monthélie, Savigny-les-Beaune and Gevrey-Chambertin. V AND B

Liquor store

Bar and cellar in one, here you have everything you need to taste before you buy! There's a vast choice of beers, wines, rums and whiskies. From Burgundy, France and Navarre! At the bar, you're sure to nibble on local cheeses and charcuterie to accompany a Clamecy beer or an Irancy red. On the entertainment front, V & B regularly organizes themed events and concerts. Very popular for afterworks. Only one regret, on the cellar side: prices are a little high and there's not enough choice of entry-level wines..
