Theatre is improvising at ARTI, so let's leave timidité in the closet and start yourself in the arena. A nice practice, good child, that will allow you to develop your relationship with others, your imagination and your trust in you. Words such as weapons, humour for shield, take part in improvisation games, friendly confrontations between two teams, managed by a coach, who improvise on themes drawn out and invented by the arbitrator. You will only have 20 seconds to think, before you start, with your team, on the playground and build a story, sometimes comic, sometimes dramatic or poetic… The public is invited to participate actively in this show, since each spectator has a multi-dimensional voting card which allows him to designate the team that seems to deserve the point at the end of each improvisation. A chausson, distributed at the entrance, allows him to express his dissatisfaction with the players or the referee, a master of ceremonies to prescribe the show. All on a background of music in a passionate atmosphere.

A stage on the water, that's what has been missing for a long time in the cultural life of the area. It is now a reality thanks to the barge La Scène des quais which, on the quays of the Yonne, offers a varied program for all audiences. Managed by the association ARTEM, the place welcomes one-man/women shows, concerts, plays, shows for children or improv evenings... The program is always attractive, and the whole is signed by emerging artists, often amateurs. We can even privatize the boat for our parties with friends or family. We love it!

Sens's municipal theater offers a rich and varied program of shows featuring the living arts: theater, dance and music, with quality artists. A venue rich in history too: the first show was staged here in 1808, and it seems that one of the most assiduous spectators was Stéphane Mallarmé. The intellectual even wrote the theater column in the Sénonais newspaper for a time...

Inhabitants of this corner of the Jura know it well: for just over ten years, the Chants d'étoile association has been bringing together enthusiasts of French-language chanson. Under the presidency of Gisèle Buclet, it regularly organizes concerts by singer-songwriters who are generally unknown to the general public, if not to festival-goers from all over France. So, there's a lot of great talent and high quality chanson à texte to be heard and discovered at the Salle polyvalente in Ruffey-sur-Seille.

La Grange Rouge is a large cultural association whose aim is to promote all aspects of Bresse's heritage. Theater, dance, music, gastronomy, heritage and environmental workshops are offered year-round through a rich program of festivals, including the famous Trad en Fête. Another event that has earned the town a European reputation for its flea markets is the organization of four huge flea markets (July 7, August 4, September¹ and 22, 2024), bringing together hundreds of exhibitors.

Every summer, Monceaux-le-Comte hosts the theater festival Les Heures Festives, organized by Les Livreurs and Bookson. During this period, visitors can attend solo theater performances every evening from 6:45pm. These shows feature a performer who brings a play to life in one hour, with only his or her voice as ally. The festival also offers weekend workshops, from 10am to 5pm, for those wishing to learn more about literature. These include a reading aloud workshop and a solo theater workshop. Participants can enjoy a bike ride through the region, with reading breaks and a picnic on arrival. The Les Heures Festives festival takes place in the charming grounds of the former presbytery in Monceaux-le-Comte, but also offers events in the surrounding communes to showcase the local heritage.

Created in 2021 by Bastien and Aurélien, two enthusiasts who met at drama school, Kezaco is a theater café open all year round, with comedy plays, one-man shows and regular improvisation sessions, as well as children's shows and theater workshops. A true café-théâtre, where you can enjoy a drink, tapas and dessert before and after performances. A warm place dedicated to laughter and good humor, ideal for ending a day of sightseeing in style.

The café-théâtre can accommodate around 150 people. The café-théâtre website features a calendar of upcoming shows, including theater, improvisation, circus and concerts.
