At Ghisoni, head south on the D69, then take the junction with the D169 towards the Capannelle sheepfolds (at an altitude of 1,640 m) and continue to the end of the road. From here, follow the Pietra Niella ski run to the summit, then take the path marked with cairns. After about 1 hour's ascent to the south-west, you'll reach Lake Bastani. To bypass it to the west, follow the path past Punta Bacinello.

This hike takes you to Corsica's second-highest massif, Monte Rotondo, at an altitude of 2622 meters, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the whole of Corsica, its imposing peaks, majestic lakes, Cap Corse and the Mediterranean. The route starts from the D623 and passes through the Restonica Forest. After the Bergeries de Timozzu, the landscape turns mineral as you head towards Lac de l'Oriente. Between steep peaks and rocky ridges, the surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful, but be prepared for a steep climb for much of the way.

Located in Tizzano, near Sartène in southern Corsica, Altra Manera is a diving center that offers divers the chance to discover an unspoilt coastline. The center offers untouched dive sites, far from the tourist crowds. In the morning, an exploration dive is organized for certified divers, departing at 9 am. The afternoon is reserved for training and first dives, departing at 2 pm. Certified divers are asked to arrive half an hour before departure, with their diplomas and medical certificates.

At the end of the carriage road that leads to the coastal residences of Formali and Fonaverte, follow the customs path to the Mortella point. Built in the 16th century by the Genoese, the tower was bombarded in 1794 by Admiral Nelson's English fleet. Consolidated in its current state by the Conservatoire du Littoral, it offers visitors a superb cross-sectional plan which allows them to appreciate the thickness of its walls. Following the stone-paved lanes of the hamlet of Ortale, ancient mule tracks run through the memory of the Cape Corsican cradle. Following the wanderings of the Funtanaccia, an ancient water mill stands like a rock wall, shrouded in the golden ether of the undergrowth. You'll then cast your gaze over the remains of a Genoese bridge, before crossing the stones of the Savina mill, whose activity continues unabated despite the patina of the ages, conferring immemorial bliss on this journey from beyond time!

On this hike, you'll discover the Santa Maria tower and enjoy a superb view of the Finocchiarola islands, classified as a nature reserve. From the port of Macinaggio, follow the signs for the U Stazzu campsite, then reach the Tamarone beach. Cross the beach and continue along the path, either along the coast to the right, or inland to the left. Choose one of these paths on the way out and the other on the way back, to enjoy different views.

The departure is metres from the famous stone arch of Capo Rosso. At this place, a dozen rocky pitons with the pointed shape go back between 2 and 3 m from the surface, they are placed on a sandy background, from which some bouquets of oceanic emerge. Exploration consists of visiting the peaks one by one, while progressing towards the bottom. Some beautiful underwater passages are available for divers. On the sand, at 35 m, you may have a great raie skate in the digestive nap. While you're going to make your level, along the peak that goes back 2 m from the surface, don't forget to admire the grace of the flabelline that's in silence.

The island of Vardiola is a block of ochre and red granite on the southern shore of the Gulf of Porto. The dive takes place from the island in the left hand to reach its end. We cross a valley of deep sand about 20 m. On the other side, the lift is very cut and behind it is the diving! 32 m descent in a clear sand garden locked between two beautifully decorated rocky walls. From 26 m, the rock falls from a delicate forest of red coral. Under the beam of a powerful lighthouse, there is a vermillon red explosion. Well fed by a small current, coral is bloom with millions of white stars. It's amazing! By continuing to the wall that faces, we discover a huge vertical flaw which goes back in a few meters from the surface. Looking upwards, we see two large blocks that are stuck in narrow gully. Often, a interminable banc comes to play the stars in scintillating scintillating in the chimney.

The location lies along the northern flank of the tip of Ficajola in the middle of the Cove Cove. Basically a funny mountain, raised 20 m, waits for the diver. By bypassing it in the west, it is surprising to discover a real saucer. Above, rocks have the form of an Indian head and, at the foot of the nose, a very beautiful mother is planted on its 18 m sand terrace. While continuing in the same direction, the narrow entrance of a tunnel leads to another massif where coral is very present. You have to go east to reach a slide zone, this part is not great, but at the end it is an explosion of red red coral, covered with white polyps pile like cotton. At the back, new change of decor, the entrance of a crack is discovered around 6 to 8 m. We feel like diving diving into fresh water! This slit, 15 m long, is very obscure. It's better to have a torch. By lifting your eyes, you can see the surface that you can die (attention at the levels) to turn off the lamp. Very beautiful vision of this blue hole flooded with light, contrasting with the burning of the hose.

Located 5 minutes away from Porto. Cormorants taking the sun welcome us on this multi-level site. Three rocks out of the water tell us the different dives. The first, the most important, shows two cavities dotted with red coral at about -28 m, continuing to sand a small forest of red gorgonian at -40 m and back to anchorage by finishing it. With some luck, you may see a ray going into the water. The rest of marine life ranges from nudibranch to lobster, passing through the corbs with the eternal ballet of saupes and sars that are there permanently. The other rocks allow us to discover groupers and octopus through a suite of small canyons. The grelles follow us for our great pleasure.

This beautiful granite arch is also known as the Scandulaghju arch or the Padule arch. It starts near the parking lot at the foot of the citadel, a little higher up than the path leading up the Tavignano to the refuge de la Sega (a sign points the way to the arch). Although the arch is not very far from Corte, the climb is very tough (1,000 m ascent on rocky ground) and the first part of the route is totally exposed to the sun, with no possibility of shelter. Bring plenty of water and set off early in the morning.

The site extends in depth from 8 to 42 meters, located approximately 500 meters from the coast on the road to the Sanguinaires Islands. Two rocky points, a few dozen meters apart, characterize the area. The first rises to 8 metres, while the second reaches 12 metres. Just at the foot of these elevations, a huge flat stone rests on a rocky mass, allowing you to pass beneath it. It is this stone that gives the site its name. Heading north, a canyon appears, reaching a depth of around 45 metres.

An imposing boulder lies between 22 and 42 meters below the surface. Moving away from this boulder on the sand, a gentle slope descends to 47 meters, where a drop-off of madrepores extends to a depth of around 70 meters. As for the flora and fauna, the boulder is adorned with red gorgonians, while lobsters, capons, moray eels, conger eels, dentex and amberjacks are frequently seen in the open water. A magical place.

A Nepalese bridge marks the start of the ascent over Corsican granite to the famous taffoni. The via is not particularly difficult, and there is an escape route. The first section, mostly downhill, leads to the Nepalese bridge. This is followed by a gentle climb up the most vertical section of the route. As the slope gradually diminishes, the summit is reached more slowly. At the summit, the view is splendid, embracing the lake and the Prunelli gorges. Your children will enjoy it from the age of 11.
