LA RANDONNÉE À LA TOUR DE LA MORTELLA

At the end of the carriage road that leads to the coastal residences of Formali and Fonaverte, follow the customs path to the Mortella point. Built in the 16th century by the Genoese, the tower was bombarded in 1794 by Admiral Nelson's English fleet. Consolidated in its current state by the Conservatoire du Littoral, it offers visitors a superb cross-sectional plan which allows them to appreciate the thickness of its walls.
