The few tables set up in front of the door of the café are quickly taken over by the regulars at the time of the passeggiata. Tourists usually fall back on the side terrace, a little away from the bustle of the town hall square. The place lends itself to the discovery of Ichnusa, the Sardinian beer, or a local white wine like vermentino. Planks of cold cuts and cheese and a limited selection of pasta are served at meal times. The position is ideal for taking in the square at a glance and watching the strollers.

THE bar in Santa Tersa di Gallura is located in the main square. You will find a selection of classic cocktails and a choice of original creations, with at least 5 different mojitos. The cocktails are delicious and served in jam jars or silver tumblers. A light menu allows you to accompany your drink. Even if the terrace is much nicer, you should take a look inside. The bottles of alcohol are hung on ropes above the bar to save space in its tiny space.

A charming and lively place located in the historical center of Alghero, in front of the dome of the church of San Michele. At the Prosciutteria Sant Miquel you will find the best of the Sardinian gastronomic and wine tradition: you can taste delicious platters of cold cuts and local cheeses accompanied by fine wines. The owner and his wife are very friendly. All of this is done to a jazz/rock background music. The kind of atmosphere that reminds us of the wine bars back home.

Classical music and dance, lyrical singing are found in this beautiful building with its pure lines. Cagliari acquired a concert hall worthy of the name in 1993. It is located just above the ancient Roman amphitheatre, which continues to host some interesting productions in the summer. The programming of the Lyric Theatre is classical: Mozart's Requiem , Prokoviev's Peter and the Wolf, Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 or Verdi's Aida allow to revise its range of great standards. Performances take place in the evening, from 9pm.

For more than 50 years, this grocery store and wine bar has been a kind of sanctuary for the products of the Gallura. Just behind the main square of Santa Teresa, you can sit on the terrace on one of the barrels, to pick from a selection of the best wines of the island and to munch on appetizing platters of artisanal cheese and cold cuts. Jams, preserves, olive oil and local sweets are available to taste on the spot or to take away. To be tried for an aperitif or at any time of the day.

This bar, located on the top floor of the Hotel Catalunya, is a hymn to the blue sky, which plays the leading role here. From the huge glass roof that looks out over the city, you can see the roofs of Alghero, the bell tower of Santa Maria reaching into the sky, the port and the boats anchored at the pontoons, and even the beach of Punta Negra. The panorama goes as far as Capo Caccio, behind which the sun sets, tinting the sky with its fiery colours. As you can see, this is the perfect time to sip a cocktail or enjoy a gourmet dinner.

Sa Panga is neither a pub nor a restaurant, but rather a kind of hybrid oriented towards the bistronomic concept. Indeed, the slogan is clear: " birre e cucina ". Attended by thirty-somethings and over, this establishment offers the finest craft beers combined with the inventive, effervescent cuisine of chef Marco Poddi, who draws his wealth from local produce (and the sea brings plenty of it to the Sinis peninsula!). The atmosphere is rather festive and relaxed, but that doesn't detract from the quality of the products served. We love it!

Sweet tooths, here's your palate. As soon as you open the door, you'll be amazed by the range of cakes (over 70 types) and ice creams (50 flavors). You'll find a wide range of cakes, from mini-Sacher (Viennese cake) to mini-cheesecake, as well as seasonal specialties. Each pastry is designed to delight the palate and make every moment special, say the managers, and we believe them when we see the line-up. We just love it!

The B-Flat ("si bémol" in French) sets the tone for jazz nights in Cagliari. This club is one of the few places where you can listen to live music in the capital. Jazz bands of all styles play on the small, warm stage and create a cosy or completely wild atmosphere. The audience is seated at round tables, lit by candles, and sip a cocktail from the long list offered by the bar. The place is ideal to end a day without any false notes.

Newly opened by the owners of the eponymous estate, Sant'André Bistrot is the place to be for lovers of wine and fine cuisine. Young chef Eduardo has impressed us with his land and sea creations (often organic), perfectly presented on superb plates and paired with the estate's wines. The decor is a blend of ancient and modern, with subdued lighting, a large corner bar and, behind it, a quieter room and patio. It's all there for you to enjoy a delightful moment in a delicate atmosphere. Roberto and his team take great care of you!

Its beautiful terrace overlooks the marina of Palau, just above the ferry landing stage. The view of the sea from here is simply splendid: in the foreground the island of La Maddalena and the islet of Santo Stefano, in a setting that is just as resplendent in the sunlight as it is in the moonlight. At aperitif time, a rich happy hour buffet is set up by the friendly team. It allows to accompany the drinks. More original, a sushi buffet will delight lovers of raw fish.Concertsevery evening.

Bacco Bistrot is the new trendy place in Bosa, a bit bobo chic and trendy, and above all delicious and offbeat. They serve improved sandwiches, charcuterie and cheese boards, burgers and tapas, all skilfully presented and melting in the mouth. The wines and beers are local products and participate in the alternative or slow food circuit. We like the locavore and gourmet atmosphere while keeping a touch of simplicity. Finally, having lunch on the terrace of the most beautiful shopping and pedestrian street in Bosa is a pure delight.

This friendly bar brings together those who wish to extend dinner with a drink in a slightly kitsch setting. The heterogeneous and very funny decoration mixes bondieuseries, toys, and political propaganda with Holy Virgin, paintings of Sardinian artists or communist posters. A few cosy tables occupy the entrance and the bar at the end of the room. Handcrafted beers and organic wines are on the menu. With each order, the patron leaves small preparations to be tasted. It is possible to order delicious sandwiches and salads made by the minute.

The beautiful facade of Caffè La Marmora is sure to catch your eye and will undoubtedly make you pull out your camera. Located at the top of Via Matteotti, the one with the umbrellas, this small bistro has a loyal local clientele that comes at any time of the day to enjoy a ristretto or a glass of white wine. We fell in love with this pocket handkerchief room, its small terrace facing the fountain and its tagged façade, but 1920s style. The address smells like the Italian art of living, where you take your time watching people go by.

This brewery-restaurant is especially known for its large selection of homemade beers. The drinks are carefully selected, right down to the home-made soda. It is a good address to discover the island's artisanal beers and make sure there is more than just Ichnusa. The selection is pointed and eclectic, with the guarantee to have a maximum of choice at the pressure. It is possible to eat a hamburger or grilled meat, but without conviction. The terrace on the pedestrian street is very pleasant.

In the heart of the maze of pedestrian streets and very close to the beautiful Piazzetta Savoia, a real wine bar that serves natural wines and nuggets from small local producers. If you haven't yet fallen for the canonau or the bovale, now is the time, because here they only serve nectars. You can also enjoy small planks of cold cuts and cheeses to accompany all this. An address a little bit bobo but rather refined and pleasant.

The Gallura nature show starts here at breakfast. It continues throughout the day with a panorama that is different every time depending on the light. This beautiful terrace surrounded by a fascinating wild landscape is located on the heights of Cala di Volpe. Just opposite the Soffi Island and in the distance the glittering Porto Rotondo. Here food and drinks are strictly Sardinian, right down to the gin "made in Sardegna". At sunset the atmosphere becomes magical: total peace.

This discreet café with a view of the harbour is a pleasant break after a long crossing. Its extended opening hours make it possible to eat and relax at almost any time of the day. The right idea? Its large choice of pastries and viennoiseries makes it possible to make a real breakfast. For other meals, the catering is not fantastic, but the location of this café with its small terrace is very practical so as not to waste time.

This bar is housed in a lovely traditional stone house with a cobbled courtyard. The iron tables are set under a trellis and an old olive tree. The intimate and bucolic atmosphere invites you to take a break: breakfast, writing your travel diary during the day, reading a good book, sharing a drink with friends. It's always a good time to settle down here. The team prepares bruschettas, paninis and hot dogs so that you don't stay hungry. Some evenings, concerts are organized.

Pane e vino is located in the heart of the historic center of Orosei and overlooks the square of Sas Animas. This wine bar is a point of reference for gourmets and lovers of wine and traditional Sardinian products. The selection of wines is entrusted to experienced sommeliers and the dishes offered are skillfully prepared by expert and passionate hands. There is often music playing, which gives the place a lounge-like and somewhat hushed atmosphere. If you are looking for a place to spend a good time in a quiet and light atmosphere, don't go any further.

This recent modern café is a change from the typical Sardinian places. It has a beautiful corner terrace to enjoy a caffè latte in the morning and a drink in the evening. With its designer decoration and its cuisine of fresh products, the continuous service benefits everyone. The small, well-kept menu of gourmet sandwiches and sophisticated salads is very tempting. In the evening, the long liquor menu attracts night owls. They sit down and order platters of cold meats and cheeses to accompany the aperitif. The place is not cheap but the Rafé plays the quality card.

The tour of Piazza Tola, which definitely has all the elements for a good evening, includes a stop at this wine bar. The establishment is so well known and appreciated that it doesn't even have a sign to mark it. The entrance, in one of the corners of the square, is notable for its two large barrels, where when all the tables on the terrace are taken, one ends up leaning over to wait. The place lends itself to a tasting-discovery of Sardinian wines. Planks of cheese and cold meats make it possible not to drink on an empty stomach.

Gastro Garage is a wine cellar, an art studio, a rehearsal room for musicians "driven out of the house" and a collection of comics and old scrapbooks. A cultural wine bar where one drinks delicious cannon while tasting dishes from all over the world reinterpreted with local products. The owners have taken up residence in an old workshop in the historic center and as they say on their website, at their place you taste wine and books... Books from all over the world but local bottles!

Le Florio is the Villanova bar where everyone meets for a drink. Here, you can nibble on original salads where mayonnaise is black garlic, cucumber meets bottarga and cauliflower meets plum. Inspired recipes are created by Old Friend Bar & Bistrot, one of the city's trendiest addresses. Le Florio offers a cutting-edge electro music program. On certain evenings, live concerts and DJ sets are held. The tiny bar is just a pretext for invading the terrace on a pleasant tree-lined square.

A real beach bar restaurant as we like it. Decorated with driftwood and veils, all dressed in wood: this small ship is set close to the waves during the summer months. We like the setting of course, ideal for lovers, but also the simplicity and kindness of Elena, the owner. The Solaria is a place frequented by the locals (just like Porto Paglia), we like to come here in the evening to taste good grilled fish or calamari washed down with vermentino. The idyllic setting is an invitation to let go, to a certain art of living that the locals cultivate.

This very pleasant wine bar offers a friendly atmosphere. It's the place to come for an aperitif or to pick up a bottle to take away. The establishment offers a number of relaxed locations. From the terrace overlooking the street to the veranda or the upstairs terrace: you'll always find a table to slip into. Let us advise you on the best bottles or local beers to accompany a plate of charcuterie and artisan cheeses served with pane guttiau. A DJ regularly accompanies the evenings.

It is not a nightclub, but a trendy bar-lounge that allows you to liven up your evenings. On the edge of the bay of Porto Frailis, the establishment overlooks the sea. It opens for breakfast. Its terrace, set in a well-tended garden, is very popular for aperitifs, as the view is ideal for enjoying the sunset with a cocktail. Concerts and thematic evenings are regularly scheduled.

Porto Cervo needed an emblematic club, like Saint-Tropez has its VIP Room or its Caves du Roy. It was the rich businessman and inveterate party animal Flavio Briatore who stepped up to the plate. Between two Formula 1 Grands Prix, he opens the Billionaire, a very select club that announces the colour. It is better to have a well-stocked wallet to hope to enter this establishment which invites the most famous DJs to perform. The entrance fee is several hundred euros, rising to several thousand for the VIP area.

You'll find all the traditions of an Irish pub on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, away from the lively Piazza Yenne. The menu has more than 70 varieties of beer and an authentic cuisine (meat, fish, snacks...), which can be enjoyed until late, which is rare. The setting respects the codes with its long wooden bar, backlit bottle shelves and high stools. A good atmosphere reigns in this pub frequented by locals and which has a pleasant terrace often full in the evening.

You can try your luck in this nightclub if you were turned away from the Billionaire. The two clubs are right next door. They are not really in competition, but rather complementary. Therefore, the entrance fee is also very high. This is the price you pay for dancing to the frenetic rhythm of the best DJs alongside celebrities. The nightclub belongs to the king of Rome's nightlife, famous for his restaurant Assunta Madre, where all the international stars who visit the Eternal City flock.

Anchored in the granite rock, the Ritual Club surprises by its unusual appearance. The mineral is everywhere. The terraces on the upper floors have been overlooking the maquis and the bay of Baja Sardinia for 50 years. The discotheque is one of the first to have been created in Sardinia. If the club claims to be rather chic, in reality the clientele of the Ritual is very varied. Some have been coming here for years, others are newcomers, but they all come together to enjoy the music in this unique place where you can enjoy the starry nights in the gardens.

The "INU" is anchored in the night landscape of Cagliari. This trendy wine bar offers a fine Sardinian wine list. You can taste Sardinia's great and lesser vintages, accompanied by boards of the island's best charcuterie and cheese, pies and other gourmet appetizers. The place is especially popular at aperitif time. An address not to be missed! And if you melt for one of the products tasted, you can get it at the boutique. Thursday evening is a musical evening with a live concert.

Su Porteddu is the last trace of civilization before Cala Goloritze. It's a parking lot, a camper van park, a campsite and an excellent bar where there's never a shortage of fresh Ichnusa non filtrata and a few slices of cheese and cold meats. The products on offer are locally sourced and the quantities generous (as is often the case in Sardinia). It's a touristy place, no doubt about it, but all the same, it's a little timeless and a little out of the ordinary. It's also a hangout for climbers and hikers, and the atmosphere reflects this.
