Opposite the Regina Margherita Hotel, the Box Office occupies the ground floor of a small building. Don't be impressed by the unattractive aspect of the place. This is where tickets for shows in Cagliari and all over the island are sold. The programme can be found on their website. Concerts, theatre, dance performances, festivals and sporting events, all the performing arts are represented. The disadvantage lies in the opening hours. You have to come in the morning, and sometimes early, for the most eagerly awaited shows.

For more than 10 years, Botti du Schoggiu has been organising open cinema sessions between July and August in Carloforte. Normally, meetings are held in primary schools on via dei Naviganti.

Classical music and dance, lyrical singing are found in this beautiful building with its pure lines. Cagliari acquired a concert hall worthy of the name in 1993. It is located just above the ancient Roman amphitheatre, which continues to host some interesting productions in the summer. The programming of the Lyric Theatre is classical: Mozart's Requiem , Prokoviev's Peter and the Wolf, Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 or Verdi's Aida allow to revise its range of great standards. Performances take place in the evening, from 9pm.

The B-Flat ("si bémol" in French) sets the tone for jazz nights in Cagliari. This club is one of the few places where you can listen to live music in the capital. Jazz bands of all styles play on the small, warm stage and create a cosy or completely wild atmosphere. The audience is seated at round tables, lit by candles, and sip a cocktail from the long list offered by the bar. The place is ideal to end a day without any false notes.
