On Zola's steps, you will discover the valley of Sour: marsh with secret chasms and multiple springs drained by a small river where there are many mills. Romilly-sur-Sour-Rognes: Emile Zola, who stayed in 1887 in Dunois, drew the inspiration from La Terre to the Touche Farm. The fortified church of the th century was used in the period of grenier. On your way, don't miss Charray and La Ferté-Villeneuil because it makes good strolls in this charming old walled town.

At the beginning of the th century, they were a meeting place where the news was exchanged. Often built on the edge of rivers or fountains, from an architectural point of view, the closed washing is distinguished, with the inclined slabs surrounding a water restraint, covered entirely or partly, and washing open on the bank and protected by a canopy. Passing through Miermaigne: the conservatory was created with the aim of preserving local and old varieties. Each year the conservatory is enriched with new varieties. The Saint-Pierre church, dating from the 372.1 th, th and th centuries, preserved a cathedral of exceptional refinement and the th century pavilion (private domain), transformed into the early th century in the style of "Anglo-Norman cottage" style, is visible from RD. Situated in the countryside, the dungeon and the square tower dating from the th century, particularly well preserved, are among the most interesting defensive works of the upper Middle Ages in Eure-et-Loir.
