Probably one of the smallest markets in Brest, but surely the most charming! Right in the heart of the village of Saint-Marc, you'd think you were in a village square. Here, you'll quickly find your feet and your habits, greeted by shopkeepers, each more friendly than the last. Market gardeners (many of them organic), cheesemongers, delicatessens and butchers, fishmongers, as well as bread, pastries and olives: there's really nothing missing from this little market! Away from the crowds, you'll appreciate the peacefulness of this Tuesday rendezvous, which ends with pleasure on the terrace of the local café or at Dj Bilig's crêperie, which we love!

The Kérinou organic market is aptly named, as we will find all the good local products (all organic, or almost!) that will irrigate our plates all week. But a market is sometimes a question of habits, of routines. You go to "your" butcher, "your" market gardener, "your" cheese maker. If you are just passing through Brest or if you have just arrived, let yourself be surprised, try it out, here everything is good and you will be welcomed with good humour, whether the weather is gloomy or all about the promise of a beautiful day.

The regulars have their habits, the newcomers will not be lost and will quickly find their marks. It is a classic market, of course, we know the dance steps. But it's also something else, an extra soul to discover.

Year round, in Sainte-Marine on Wednesday morning. In season, also on Saturday morning.

The city is rich in various markets. Every Thursday of the year, a general market is held on the Place du Calvaire, with about fifteen exhibitors and local producers. On Saturday mornings there is a food market, with more organic producers. On the last Thursday of each month, enjoy a very large market. Interested only in local products? You should come to the Place du Calvaire on Fridays from 5 to 8 pm, from May to September. In summer, on Sunday mornings, a craft market takes place.

And here is a market of the four seasons that we can't get enough of! The culinary identity is strongly marked with the omnipresence of strawberries from Plougastel, fish from Conquet or oysters from the bay and traditional charcuterie. Without forgetting the cheese of the Monts d'Arrée! The local producers are not only friendly but also at the service of the customer, ready to make him discover their products, the thousand specialities of the region. It's a market on a human scale, where good humor reigns, where you feel good and welcome.

There is a market every day in Saint-Malo, each in a different part of the city. The Monday market is located in Rocabey and spreads out over the main square and the market hall. This market also takes place on Thursday. On Tuesday, you have an appointment in the district of Saint-Servan, in the halls. That same day, there is the one inIntramuros, rue de la Herse. Wednesday, it happens in Paramé, avenue de la Borderie. Friday, there are again the two markets of Saint-Servan and Intramuros. Finally, on Saturday morning, you have an appointment at Rocabey and Paramé.

At this small market near the abbey, you'll find local, organic produce: bread, crêpes and galettes, fruit and vegetables, goat's cheese, pastries, apple juice, cider and kefir, fermented vegetables, and even books, designer clothes and natural cosmetics! On certain Fridays, the market features musical entertainment and authors presenting their works.

Dating back to the ^19th century, the Halles have been renovated to make them brighter and more convivial. They are now home to some thirty traders and their local and/or organic produce. You'll find everything: fruit, vegetables, meat, fish (caught on the Breton coast), bread, dairy products, charcuterie... Every Monday, the Halles is part of the city's weekly market. You'll also be able to sample an unmissable galette-saucisse at Solange's, where she makes delicious crêpes and galettes from organic flour.

The organic market of Dol-de-Bretagne is held at the halles. On the spot, about twenty exhibitors propose you every Tuesday afternoon their best products resulting from an organic and local agriculture. You will find many products: breads, buns, beef and sheep meat, eggs, fruits and vegetables, cheeses from cow's milk, ewe's milk, seafood or even pasta or pizzas. Numerous events are offered throughout the year: the "galette des rois", egg hunt, big meal in August, Christmas market...

This traditional Dolois market takes place every Saturday, from Grande-Rue to rue des Carmes. The friendly traders at this old-fashioned market give pride of place to local produce, including specialities such as porchet de Dol (pork terrine), salt-meadow lamb from the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, Breton pâté and galette-saucisse. The organic market takes place every Tuesday afternoon under the covered market hall, offering bread, meats, cheeses, seafood, vegetables and even entertainment. It's the perfect place to pick up a few specialties.

Around 1900, every Wednesday morning, local farmers would come and sell their victuals on Place Saint-Germain. The tradition lives on. Today, this food market on a human scale brings together around ten traders. Visitors come to stock up on fruit and vegetables, fresh fish, seafood, cheeses, meats and charcuterie... and, of course, the inevitable crêpes, galettes and local delicacies. After eight years on the other side of the footbridge, Place Toussaint, this market has returned to its home port, the beautifully renovated Place Saint-Germain. Free of its palisades and now pedestrianized, it brings a breath of fresh air to the area around the church.

Every Wednesday, we look forward to the Mail organic market like the school bell. With over twenty committed producers, craftsmen, retailers and market gardeners, the Mail showcases the people who nourish our beautiful Rennes soil. Find dandelion nettles from Perma G'Rennes to boost our defenses, good milk from Pie Noir Breton cows from Toucanne gardens, logs and gourmet ice cakes from La Grande fontaine... You can also fill your shopping bag with regular events (gypsy jazz, rap, percussion, swing, permaculture...).
