LE FUT PERCUTE

Beer bar

Formerly a Servoiserie, Yoann Guillemot's Le Fût percute opened its doors ten years ago. An afterwork bar and beer cellar (350 references on draught, bottle and can), the venue also lends itself delightfully to festive events: weekly quizzes and blind tests on Thursdays, karaoke every first Saturday of the month, occasional concerts and open stages, broadcasts of major sporting events on giant screens, it's great to have a frothy drink with friends in the Kerlann area. Plus: beer and cider taps for hire for all events, private and professional.

LE PICCADILLY PUB

Music and entertainment bar
4.5/5

Closed

Piccadilly, the first Saint-Brieuc night club is located between the train station and the city centre. As its name suggests, the atmosphere here is that of an English pub, with an impressive selection of beers (30 varieties, 6 draught) as well as coffees, and an Anglo-Saxon atmosphere: decorations, Irish music. You can eat on the go in the trendy brasserie. The very pleasant place regularly programs concerts organized by the Badaboum association and subsidized by the general Council of Côtes-d'Armor and the municipality of Saint-Brieuc. You can mostly see emerging talents, but sometimes famous artists. Did Pauline Croze, Aldebert, Loïc Lantoine, Alexis HK have pass by this pub and were all satisfied.

LE GRABUGE

Beer bar

In the heart of the Recouvrance district, Le Grabuge is a story of friends. First, Maxime and Steven: friends in high school and now in their thirties, they set up this beer bar together in the walls of the former bistrot National, a neighborhood institution. Today, Le Grabuge has become a meeting place for friends, and it's impossible to spend an evening in Recou' without having a mug (or several, in moderation of course) from the excellent selection of craft beers. And don't worry, the name is more a nod to the neighborhood's reputation than a reality! You'll find a very cool atmosphere and a program of concerts, stand-up, improv and game broadcasts.

LE QG

Wine bar

Olivier Sweboda (also manager of the Pause Attitude in Saint-Malo) and Mélanie Faille are at the head of this wine and beer bar in Dinard which combines a friendly and family atmosphere with good products. The place is warm and ideal for after works and aperitifs with greedy friends. The planks of cold cuts and cheeses will accompany a nice selection of wines and beers proposed to the customers. The musical animations make the place unique and carry us all in a good general atmosphere. Not to be missed!

BRASSERIE LA RIPOSTE

Beer bar

This brewpub is hidden away in the heart of Chatelaudren, in a former warehouse of the Petit écho de la mode. A windowed corridor leads to a vast room, where metal beams recall the place's industrial past, while stone walls and mismatched furniture give it a warm feel. Behind the counter, the silver tanks ferment the different varieties of beer, all well-malted, spicy and not very bitter: blonde, golden, russet, brown and even pineapple white. Concerts, often rock concerts, are organized once a month.

PENNY LANE

Beer bar

In this pub located at the bottom of the Place de la Mairie, you will be immediately transported. The Beatles and the Anglo-Saxon culture are honored in this pub with a strong character and you can have a few beers in this vaulted cave, under the opera house, where you can find exposed stones, wooden tables, leather armchairs, padded sofas, a corner to dance, a smoking room and a crowd of people. The place proposes several local beers, among which those of the Rennes brewery Skumenn or you can be tempted by the traditional whiskies (not far from a hundred) or beers from across the Channel. A bit of London in Rennes and above all a big nod to the Cavern Club with its stone vault and its stage located at the back of the bar. Here we are in the mythical room of Liverpool in which the Beatles, in the 1960s made their debut. You can smoke like in the 1960s with the smoking room at the entrance, you can eat like in a good Irish pub with club sandwiches, cheeseburgers, chicken nems and boards. A perfect place to dance, listen to good music in the capital of Rennes rock and see, why not, emerge the future stars of tomorrow. To live and vibrate in Rennes in a cosmopolitan atmosphere!
