All styles of music, propelled by local production companies, pass through the mythical Salle du Vauban, which is over 50 years old! While the hotel and bar-brasserie overlooking it have undergone successive renovations, the concert hall has remained the same since 1962, with its retro mosaics and old posters of stars... Now emblematic of Brest, this space welcomes both local and internationally renowned artists. With its two concert halls, a bar open during coffee-concerts, a MAO recording studio and 6 rehearsal studios, this complex is a unique venue with exceptional acoustics. But La Carène also offers concerts for young audiences, musical challenges, artists in residence and workshop proposals. Housed in a brand-new building straddling the Cleunay and Courrouze districts, the Antipode is no half-measure. Its imposing monolithic structure includes two concert halls, one of which can accommodate up to 900 people, a creative workshop, rehearsal studios, spaces dedicated to artistic practice... and even a library. The history of this MJC is deeply rooted in the Cleunay district. Since 1987, the Ubu has been organizing a number of concerts and events around music throughout the year. A small hall whose configuration allows a beautiful communion between the artist and the public, it has the advantage of having terraces allowing the audience to spread out in height around the pit as well as a very pleasant bar area. A sumptuous liner stranded in the heart of Brest, this building is a lovely nod to the maritime city. An evolving infrastructure, it houses a multifunctional hall dedicated to hosting shows, concerts and sporting events. On the banks of the canal, halfway between the town center and the Etangs d'Apigné, La Guinguette, the MeM's open-air stage, has a bohemian ambience. With its 9 hectares of total surface area, including 14 000 m ^² of covered surface and 8 hectares in open air, the Penfeld exhibition Centre can accommodate up to 12 000 people. There is also a parking space of 3 500 places for the very many visitors. It is the concert hall of Saint-Malo. The space is divided into two rooms: a large room of 920 places including 180 seats and a club of 180 places where are welcomed open stages, cinemas concert, small intimate evenings during the week, most often on Thursday and free. It opens onto the smoking area, a terrace in the open air that is appreciated on summer evenings. La Nouvelle Vague also has four rehearsal and recording studios, with several sound systems and good acoustic equipment, and two dressing rooms.

Since 1996, the association MAPL (Musiques Au Pays de Lorient) promotes the current music. At its Merville premises, it continues to host local groups to repeat. The cafeteria is a convivial meeting place where small concerts are given (e. g. electronic music) and where art exhibitions are planned. MAPL also continues its programming work with concerts almost every weekend at the Manège. Le Jardin Moderne was born of a desire to bring together players in the contemporary music scene in a single venue, and has become an essential space for all those who want to make music, make a living from it and even rehearse.
