Located in the centre of the capital, in a university setting, as its name suggests, this establishment is neither a campus nor a youth hostel. It offers about forty rooms (some with several beds, accommodating 4 people), with basic comfort, but with acceptable bathrooms and sanitary facilities, satellite TV, and a buffet breakfast offered to the guests, who are generally young.

Located to the right of the Cascade, Hotel "1" (its name in Armenian) is a modern hotel in an ideal location in the heart of the capital, in the trendy Cascade district, rich in cultural and artistic events. Claiming the appellation of boutique-hotel, it offers functional, comfortable and sometimes spacious rooms with a sober decor, including a table and a kitchen in some of them. Please note that breakfast is served in your room at any time of the day!

Beautifully housed in a small pink tufa building typical of Yerevan architecture, some 600 metres west of Opera Square, this relatively new hotel is designed for the budget and is ideal for families and others. The fifteen or so rooms, some of which are equipped with well-equipped kitchenettes even if they are not enough to prepare sophisticated Armenian dishes, are equipped with all the comforts at reasonable prices. The reception is friendly and almost family oriented, and quick to inform you.

Situated on the heights of Yerevan in a green environment from where it prides itself on offering visitors "one of the most beautiful views in Armenia", at least over the Hrazdan Gorge, and beyond to Mount Ararat if the weather permits, this relatively new hotel has rather comfortable rooms, but with a little showy furniture, like many Armenian establishments. There is also a restaurant serving Armenian and European cuisine, often with music, and a shuttle bus to the centre.

A pioneer of the private hotel industry in Yerevan, created shortly after independence by an Armenian diaspora, this hotel has modernized and is still primarily aimed at a clientele of businessmen and their families. Some of the 23 rooms, spacious and comfortable, sometimes with attics, are equipped with a kitchenette, more suitable for families than for business people who will fall back on the bar or the restaurant. Its central position, in a street just behind the Place de la République, can be better appreciated after long works.

Overlooking the Hrazdan gorges, facing the brandy factory, whose red tufa facade has taken on the style, but 10 minutes walk from the centre, at the beginning of a shopping street, the Métropol offers comfortable and spacious rooms. Its conference room is designed to attract a clientele of businessmen, who can also relax around the swimming pool and in the sauna in the basement. The restaurant offers gastronomic specialties from Armenia and elsewhere, some of which are served in room service day and night.

This new luxury hotel stands with its imposing facade on the heights of Yerevan in the northwest. The building, whose pompous character is reminiscent of the Soviet era, has the appearance of an impregnable citadel, with prices contributing to this. It is preceded by a large open swimming pool from which the Ararat can be admired. The 19 rooms, less austere than the façade, are tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort. There is a bar, in a sort of blockhouse at the top of a grassy slope with a waterfall, an Armenian-European restaurant, a shuttle to the airport, etc. The hotel has a large open swimming pool from which you can admire the Ararat.
