Run by a young, professional and dynamic team, the club is known for its high level of safety as well as for its friendliness. The club house is really very nice, with its terrace, its bar and its beautiful ocean view that make you want to enjoy the after-diving. The connoisseurs will appreciate the technical mastery, with trainings for all levels, from diving to nitrox... One of the two boats has even been specially designed for the bay of Saint-Leu.
ABYSS PLONGÉE
Read moreCreated in 1997 and taken over in 2012, the Abyss Plongée centre is located next to the port. In addition to the classic dives, the club offers introductory diving courses, in one day, and courses for children under 12 years old. For the older children, you will be able to take advantage of ANMP/CEDIP training from level I to level IV, PADI training, nitrox diving and night dives. Approximately sorties, between the Bay of Saint Paul and Trois-basins, are proposed according to the level of participants and weather. No more than 6 divers per session, and that's all the better! The organization is simple and à la carte; Sub'Marine has no premises on the port, its van brings all the material on the ground. After you have booked by phone, you can get directly to pontoon A for immediate boarding.

A 50-minute outing in small groups, starting from the beach. Equipped with flippers, mask and snorkel, you are towed by an aquatic propeller to observe the seabed. This small electric device is as fun as it is practical, providing new sensations underwater. At Cap La Houssaye, it's not uncommon to come across turtles and rays - an unforgettable experience!

The most important thing is that the team adapts the schedule to your possibilities. To finish, they offer you a debriefing on the boat around a refreshment.

Read moreThis diving center opened a few years ago is one of the few in the town of Saint-Paul. Departures are from Cap la Houssaye, but the center also organizes dive-camps in Sainte-Rose, for dives with photo or biology themes. We particularly like its low rates, which are different from those in Saint-Gilles. Stefan, the founder, mainly receives a clientele of residents. PADI and FFESSM courses available. During the whale season, outings away from the usual sites are offered in addition to the dives.
DUOCÉAN

A team of passionate and qualified professionals, the club has developed its techniques in collaboration with a CNRS laboratory and a specialist in cetacean behaviour.
