Nicknamed the three D's in reference to the three peaks that surround Bourg-Murat, this walk, accessible with the whole family, will allow you to enjoy magnificent views over the entire Plaine des Cafres, the Piton des Neiges and the ocean. You will pass between the cryptomerias, in a forest of plane trees or in front of the numerous herds of cows and sheep. Achievable in 3 hours, its only difficulty is on the slope of the piton Dugain.

This pleasant seaside walk starts off strong: the starting point of the Coastal Path is none other than the Étang-Salé abyss. Formed by lava flows, this natural corridor causes the ocean to rumble when it rushes in, hitting the rocks. This trail will first make you crawl over the volcanic rocks, before leading you to the sand dunes and finally to pebble beaches. Your destination, the Étang du Gol, is 7.6 kilometres away.

This accrobranche offers eight courses of varying difficulty, punctuated by 130 games. In the middle of the forest of cryptomerias of Makes, you will evolve on Tibetan bridges, zip lines, suspended platforms, etc... Two of them benefit from a unique system of continuous lifeline, which allows you to complete the whole course without detaching yourself, thus offering optimal safety and access to the youngest. Located at 400 m altitude, the Bassin Bleu Country Club golf course is a majestic 56-hectare complex, which forms a beautiful link between beach and mountain. Its view is sublime, its climate ideal, thanks to a natural mid-altitude protection against the trade winds. An 18-hole course, quite technical and naturally hilly, with the first 9 holes dominating the Indian Ocean and the last 9 punctuating a forest of eucalyptus trees. You will have a wide choice between the 18-hole driving range (6 of which are covered), the putting green and the practice bunkers.

At an altitude of 1,500 m, the toboggan park offers you a variety of activities at low cost: pony rides in the surrounding forest, archery courses, remote-controlled boat races for the marmailles at the wheel of a large console overlooking the park's pool. Don't let the old-fashioned look impress you and dare to climb the steps. You'll discover the main attraction: a toboggan run that runs down 450 m through a garden of hydrangeas and longoses (no matter what age, everyone wants more)!

This equestrian centre takes you, on the back of Mérens, to discover the exceptional panoramas of the surroundings. The horses are docile and reassuring for beginners. For children, the club offers baby ponies and ponies that they can brush before setting off on a ride. After a ride in the arena to learn the basic rules and become familiar with the animal, departure for an experience in the heart of nature. Note that there is also a campground.

This eighteen-hole course, the oldest on the island, is located in the forest of Étang-Salé and covers more than 68 hectares, full of flowers and greenery. The course is very well maintained and quite technical. There are also training areas, a driving range, a swimming pool and three tennis courts. There is a brasserie for refreshments. The whole family is welcome. If you don't want to drive back home, you can take a helicopter to Pierrefonds airport with Mafate Hélicoptère, partner of the golf course.
