Some sections can be done separately, such as from Standley Chasm (section 4), Ormiston Gorge (section 12), and the final section to Mount Sonder. Although not the most spectacular, the first section from Telegraph Station is relatively easy to do, either on foot or by bike.
Practical. The entire route takes 10 to 20 days and requires experience and preparation, including getting food delivered along the way and having enough water. It is highly recommended to hike with an emergency signaling tool (satellite phone, EPIRB, or other).
