With a good pair of hiking boots, you'll be able to get up high and enjoy an incomparable view. At an altitude of around 319 metres, it takes about an hour to climb Mount Bishop. The route, which starts out easy through the bush, becomes more difficult at the end as the path becomes narrow and steep. At the summit, the views are exceptional, particularly of Squeaky Beach and Whiskey Bay. For an even more memorable experience, consider starting the climb in the late afternoon to watch the sunset from the summit.
