Saturday nights and Sundays ( live music) a phenomenal, friendly, family atmosphere in Kalbarri's best fish and seafood restaurant. Don't be surprised if you find yourself in a courtyard, the many tables are filled with people, kids playing and adults meeting, having lunch and having fun. Microbrewery. Dogs accepted. Reservations required. One of the most beautiful addresses on the West Coast. Right next door is the Kalbarri Entertainment Centre where you can play mini-golf or bounce on the trampolines.

Casa Luna is a restaurant and cocktail bar located just a stone's throw from Byron Bay's main beach. Perched at the very top of the building, you'll have a beautiful view of Byron Bay. The place is meant to be festive and trendy, and it succeeds with a beautiful decor and subdued lighting, while still being open to the outside. But it's above all the quality of the restaurant that blew us away: we were expecting fairly classic tapas, but instead we got very well prepared dishes, and all at a very fair price for the quality. A great address!

Opened in February 2024, this small restaurant is our favorite address for breakfast or brunch in Canberra, a stone's throw from the hyper-city center. The menu offers a wide choice of pancakes, savoury dishes such asavocado toast and corn fritters, but everything is very well cooked. The drinks menu offers the classic Australian coffees, as well as generous and very good smoothies. The restaurant is not very convivial, but the quality of the food makes up for it: we give this café 10 out of 10.

This RSL (Retired Serviceman's League) serves hearty and varied dishes in a friendly atmosphere. In the evening you will sometimes find live music.

Close to Lake St Clair and The Wall, it is the main establishment in the area. The interior design has retained all the charm of the past, with its imposing fireplace that maintains a tropical temperature in all seasons. The rooms offered are simple but very comfortable.

The former Scottish-style The Highlander Restaurant & Scone Shop has been transformed into Mountain Mumma, a cozy bar and restaurant. On the menu: healthy dishes such as raw vegetable salad and sweet potato fries, simple sandwiches and comfort food like pizzas. Accompanied by delicious chocolate cakes, cupcakes and coffee or hot chocolate. Very friendly staff.

Located in one of Paddington's quieter streets, this pub is a Sydney institution... and brings its own share of excitement. It has been selling scotch and British beer since 1875 (Boddingtons, Newcastle Brown, Guinness, Old Speckled Hen). In its early days, it was frequented by soldiers from the Victoria Barracks. Today, it is a warm pub that has retained a typical British atmosphere. A lot of wood and old-fashioned decoration remind the timelessness of the place. We eat pizzas, salads and burgers.

The first pub opened in 1856 and left in its original state, the Bush Inn Brewhouse has been part of the town's heritage for over 150 years. It has now been in the same family for over 35 years. Built in 1898, the Great Western Hotel is part of Cobar's heritage and was designated as a historic monument by the National Trust in 1974. Ideally located, this magnificent white-painted hotel boasts the longest veranda in the state (100 meters in total), decorated with beautiful ironwork. The restaurant, which serves some Italian specialties, is quite famous among the locals and pleases many visiting tourists. However, ask to see the rooms if you want to stop over for the night.

A very friendly welcome at this restaurant, which opens its doors to you from breakfast to dinner. Graze is undoubtedly the best restaurant in Apollo Bay and certainly in the surrounding area. This restaurant, hidden away in a street parallel to the waterfront, is a nugget that finally reconciles us with Australian cuisine. All dishes are very well prepared and tasty, with a special mention for the highly original desserts. A fine wine list. Given the quality of the dishes and wines on offer, the prices are more than reasonable. We advise you to discover this restaurant before it becomes too well-known!

This restaurant is a sure bet in Mission Beach. You'll already be won over by its beachfront location. And there's no mistaking the rest of the program: the service is attentive, and the dishes are hearty and tasty. Asian cuisine is clearly a source of inspiration for the restaurant, but a few Italian dishes have also crept onto the menu. Burgers and fine cuts of meat are also on the menu. Enjoy your meal!

Don't let your first impression put you off: when you leave the station, the building (the former Savoy Theatre) doesn't look like much... But once you've climbed the stairs, you'll be delighted with your discovery: the bar area is beautifully decorated, and the restaurant offers a magnificent view of the Blue Mountains. A nice stop for lunch when you arrive in Katoomba. The restaurant, located on Katoomba's main avenue, offers a different concept for lunch and dinner. At lunchtime, the menu is fairly simple and economical, offering vegetarian options. The cookies are very good and the service is quick and good. In the evening, the restaurant is more of a tapas experience, with tasting menus available at AU$70 and AU$80. The setting is pleasant, with a pretty room decorated in a sober, green style.

This restaurant, tucked away at the end of an alleyway, is the perfect place for breakfast or brunch. The menu features hearty bagels , as well as healthy options such as salads and acai bowls. This is the only place to eat in the small town of Tarana. The establishment, which once had several cabins to accommodate visitors, no longer rents them out since the Covid crisis. The chef's specialty is the Tarana Tiger Burger. Fish, steaks and snacks are always available. The pleasant outdoor terrace offers a lovely view of the surrounding area. Byram and Deborah, the owners, provide impeccable service. An address not to be missed in this superb valley on your return from an excursion.

A contemporary Australianoutback pub, located near the Wildlife Park and swimming at Berry Springs Nature Park. The tavern is especially known for the (baby) crocodile races it organizes! Crocodile on the roof, in an aquarium and crocodile skins above the bar. Decent food with a classic Australian pub menu, with burgers, breaded schnitzels, but also a selection of vegetarian options like Asian salads. Live music on weekends. Lots of toys and coloring for the little ones.

A very good restaurant to try on the way back from Cataract Gorge Reserve. The restaurant's signature dish is the seafood platter for one or two people, but the quantities are gargantuan, so it will suit several people. Red meat lovers will also be delighted by the dishes on offer, always in impressive quantities. And to round off the meal on a high note, if you're still a little hungry, the desserts here are particularly well prepared and can be shared among the table.
