The place is quite small, but we love its decoration with Superman's mannequin, thousands of bric-a-brac objects, pictures of customers, little succulents on the tables, and the chosen music... The burgers are excellent, as well as the pizzas and the numerous appetizing desserts. Many customers also come for take-away food. We recommend it for the food, the place, and the nicely offbeat atmosphere.

As its name suggests, it is mainly seafood and fish that you will find on the menu. Try the grilled snapper with a choice of 3 salads. Oysters are an excellent choice as an appetizer. For beer lovers, try the Southern Bay draft lager. Also wine and cider!

Don't let the outside fool you, as you're walking into a Caltex gas station, but the room is nice and clean, the staff friendly and it's an excellent seafood restaurant. Live fish and oysters from Kangaroo Island. Everything is good and appetizing! We treat ourselves to fish & chips, perhaps one of the best on the island! In the evening, it's best to get there early, as it can easily get very crowded.

This charming café owes its name to its owners, who, lost on a Greek island, found themselves in a small square where the locals were enjoying small dishes and laughing out loud. The name of this square? Micri Voulee (Little Parliament) became the inspiration for this friendly place where conversations flow. The Little Parliament café works with local farms, offers seasonal menus and prepares tasty coffee accompanied by excellent breakfasts. In short, the charm is on!

Surely the best table in Alice Springs that combines Malaysian, Thai and Indian flavors. Using local products as much as possible, Hanuman is the work of Jimmy Shu, a chef from Sri Lanka who arrived in Australia at the age of 21 with $50 in his pocket. He was the star of the Taste of the Territory series, where he showcased the culinary diversity of the NT. Those who liked it can also dine at Hanuman in Darwin, which is actually the first restaurant Jimmy Shu launched in 1992. The "Thai crispy whole fish" is delicious!

This small restaurant established on one of the most beautiful viewpoints of Hobart's suburbs, Mount Nelson, is in fact the former home of the chief signalman of the nearby Mount Nelson Signal Station. With its relaxed atmosphere, young team and tempting menu, the Deck is the place to go if you want to enjoy a good dinner without getting carried away! Climb the stairs to the rooftop terraces and enjoy the flight of cockatoos and the magnificent sunset. On the menu, we particularly enjoyed the delicious freshly squeezed fruit juices and seafood (mussels, oysters, shrimps and squid). Burgers and tapas are not bad either, as are the breakfast options.

Perched atop the Hotel X, the Iris Rooftop is the perfect place to escape the noise of the city and dine in total privacy. This vast rooftop space, with its wide banquettes, velvet armchairs and green décor, is designed to provide the perfect setting for a feast. Everything has been thought through with elegance, and this is reflected in the Mediterranean-influenced dishes: pumpkin guacamole, crayfish tails, grilled pork chops glazed with macadamia honey... and save room for dessert: the Basque cake is a real treat.

This large red building, topped with a green roof, is bustling with activity throughout the day. Park visitors come here to enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner or coffee in a relaxing setting. Our tip: wake up early and after a sporty hike, opt for the in-house brunch: it's delicious! Located at the northern entrance to the park, it offers a pleasant view of the Hacking River. You can also spend the night in Audley Ranger's Cottage, a charming cottage 50 meters away. A lovely stopover!

It would be a shame not to stop at the Noojee Hotel. In addition to its historical aspect (the hotel dates back to 1925), the hotel is a very pleasant stop on the road between the alpine resort of Mount Baw Baw and the Yarra Valley. In fact, most bikers who frequent the shady and winding roads of the region know this and meet here frequently, including on weekends. Comfortably seated on the terrace, with a view of the river below, you can enjoy pizzas, burgers and salads in a very nice setting.

Besk is both a bar and a restaurant that uses only good seasonal ingredients. Friendly and trendy, in a former printing house, the menu changes often, especially during the kitchen takeovers whenBesk welcomes famous chefs, details are on their website. Many vegetarian options. Not to be missed if you are in the area, even if only for an afternoon coffee. Note that Leederville has many restaurants, but mostly around Oxford Street, about 20 minutes northeast of Besk.

This Italian restaurant on the corner of Salamanca Place is one of Hobart's best. Spaghetti, risotto, penne, gnocchi are on the menu... but no pizza. A way to distinguish itself from other more traditional restaurants. Meat and fish are however part of the menu. Tiramisu, peach pie, panna cotta and Italian cheeses are announced among the sweets at the end of the meal. Not to mention the espresso! All of this can be enjoyed in an air-conditioned room or on the terrace.

Nestled in a small street in Surry Hills, this gourmet restaurant with about 20 seats will surprise you with the quality of its dishes, but also with the care taken in the selection of its products, all of which come from organic farming and animal welfare. Dylan and Angelica welcome you here. Each of the dishes offered is a delight and is tasted with pleasure. The menu changes every week according to the offers proposed by the partner farmers. An excellent address that we can only recommend.

If you like the biker vibe, love nature and are looking for simplicity, both in presentation and in the type of dishes, the Old Road Cafe is not only for you, it's not to be missed. Burgers and salads make up the bulk of the menu, but you'll feel right at home in this simple building with its large outdoor terrace. A thousand and one motorcycles park outside on weekends. It has to be said that the Old Pacific Hwy, which follows the M1, is a delight to ride, whether by motorcycle or car.

This is one of the lively, affordable restaurants in the inner courtyard of Salamanca Place. We particularly appreciate the atmosphere at weekends, when musicians take their places in the back of the room and the evening gradually comes to life. The menu remains classic (pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, salads...), with some nice platters to share with friends and a few original dishes (chicken Parmigiana, lamb chops, salmon, Angus...). A place we can only recommend without hesitation.
