Armelle, the creator and owner, welcomes you to this pretty boutique adjoining her smoked fish laboratory: unique in Martinique, these fish are caught locally and then cold-smoked with sugar cane bagasse, mahogany sawdust and Guérande salt. Be sure to pay her a visit, she'll be delighted to explain her work. Then leave with one of her famous pieces or slices of tuna or marlin, souskay or smoked rillettes, all homemade!

For over twenty years, Cap Créole has specialized in the production of smoked Caribbean fish (rillettes, marinated, smoked). The parent company is based in Guadeloupe, a prime fishing ground for deep-sea fish such as marlin, king mackerel, tuna and sea bream, supplied directly by local fishermen. Species are selected for their flavor, before being transformed into smoked fish using traditional brining and smoking methods. This small boutique is the brand's first point of sale in Martinique.
