Located on Jordan's southern coast, in Tala Bay, the Marina Plaza Hotel is a 4-star hotel offering breathtaking views of the Gulf of Aqaba. Sure, the price is very high, but of all the camps in Little Petra, this is the most justified. The location, on a mountainside and in an open wadi, is idyllic. Each "room" is set on a terrace with a hot tub. It includes a "bedroom" bubble with covered walls to enjoy some privacy, but with a transparent sky, a fully transparent living room with a panoramic view, a bathroom. You sleep under the starry canopy, with the added bonus of comfort. Meals are served as a buffet in a maxi-bubble.

On the edge of the white desert, this is the last camp south of Wadi Rum. Its location is unique, with views over the gradation of sand from ochre to beige. The team will do their utmost to ensure you have a great time, with traditional songs sung by the campfire in the evenings, and the inevitable 4x4 rides, camel rides and hikes in the surrounding area. En-suite tents are much more expensive, but much more spacious and comfortable. The shared bathroom blocks are always spotless.

This camp is modelled on the others, with bungalows covered in Bedouin goat-wool weaving, arranged in a U-shape. Each tent has a beautiful glass surface facing the mountains and the view. In the center of the camp, a campfire and benches arranged in a circle to enjoy evenings under the stars. The real plus here is the location. In a valley close to the Burdah Canyon, you feel truly isolated, away from it all, with the desert to yourself. And there's very little traffic. The downside: the quality of the meals.

With 183 rooms and suites, an outdoor swimming pool, a gym, a spa and a wide range of choices for your culinary desires, the resort will surprise even the most discerning traveler with its magnificent, luxurious décor.
