Rosendals Trädgård is one of Stockholm's gems! The garden café is located in a bucolic setting on the island of Djurgården and offers salads, soups, sandwiches and pastries made in the nearby bakery. The café uses organic and biodynamic ingredients, many of them even from the vegetable garden. Many Stockholmers visit Rosendal in good weather to picnic or lounge on the grass in the orchard. Be sure to stop by the little store before you leave.

On the corner of small pedestrian and shopping streets is this charming restaurant inside a pink building. Around white tables decorated with flowers and antique chairs, one eats here in a relaxed atmosphere. Pasta, salads and/or pastries; tea is offered as an accompaniment (help yourself to the left of the counter). Moreover, the gastronomic quality is assured: organic products guaranteed! If you don't want to sit inside but would rather enjoy the sunshine outside, they also offer take-out.

A few steps from the hypercenter and just in front of the pretty Caroli church, this family-owned restaurant is ideal for a relaxing moment between two visits. In a warm atmosphere, you can either curl up in big velvet armchairs or sit at a big rustic wooden table. The food is homemade and inexpensive, and the menu offers a wide choice of mixed salads, hot or cold sandwiches, and of course a large selection of pastries for a proper fika! In summer, you can enjoy a charming terrace.

Cheeses, sausages, breads and spices from mainly Mediterranean countries, but also specialities from Österlen. On the shelves of this delicatessen you will find everything from olive oil and vinegar to jam, honey, biscuits, cakes, freshly ground coffee and loose tea. Every day, from 11am to 2pm, a buffet is prepared with hot pies, hearty salads, cold cuts and cheese, depending on the season.

Since 1938, coffee and cakes have been served daily in the small cottage in Skäret during the summer months. At that time, the story of the seven sisters who opened the café spread quickly throughout the kingdom. Rumour has it that not only King Gustav Adolf came in person, but also thousands of guests who wanted to enjoy the mildness of the place during the summer season. The place is appreciated for its peacefulness.
