91 ha. Restricted access. This reserve was created to protect the beauty of the four islands (the Pájaros are two). The flora is low due to soil poverty and the strength of the winds. The islands are the refuge of hundreds of birds living there permanently and of migratory birds including the pèlerin falcon.
Practice: camping prohibited on the islands. Housing and restoration in Puntarenas.
