Medium but comfortable rooms in a beautiful garden.

Establishment with limed walls and clean rooms bearing an animal name: lobster, horse, turtle… very well maintained by a Costa Rican family. Some rooms have a small terrace with chairs and coffee table.

The hotel is situated in a humid forest facing Cocles beach in Puerto Viejo. Many activities are possible (sport fishing, observation of dolphins, diving, snorkeling…).

These are lovely bungalows in a tropical garden setting 150 m from the beach. International restaurant and caribéene open all day, even for outside guests. Rental of atvs. Hotel to recommend.

Accommodation in a beautiful house built on the Hauteurs coffee plantation heights. Good address to start (or finish) the stay.

It's really the old lodge, not a 5-star. Don't forget your sleeping bag! In the pure tradition of the mountain refuge.

A B & B honourable to the enthusiastic welcome. Just above the restaurant La Puerta del Sol; they are the same owners.

Montaña Verde is an environmental association located in the village of Rivas. The hostel can accommodate about people. Local catering prepared from organic products, organically grown without chemical fertilizers and pesticides (coffee, citrus fruits, bananas).

Located on the Karen Mogensen reserve, the Cerro Escondido hostel can accommodate up to 25 people in two cabins with two rooms of 4 to 6 people each and in the hostel, a collective room can accommodate up to 10 people.

Proposed activities. Many trails lead to the peninsula and the Gulf of Nicoya. A mirador, built at the top point of the reserve, allows you to admire the splendid panorama of the Gulf. Excursions are organised to discover the fauna and flora of the reserve. In these cases, the groups are limited to 15 persons.

Minimizing impact. Organic waste is buried and others are recycled.

As a Swiss chalet overlooking the Pacific, La Colina B & B is made up of economic rooms with views of the garden, deluxe rooms with ocean view, but also two small apartments, practices for families. We greatly appreciate the architecture of the place, very original, but all in stairs, as well as the beautiful swimming pool (lit in the evening, it is magical!). The garden is a delight for seeing many animals such as lazy ones, but also exotic birds, butterflies or seeing many species of flowers. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We tested the restaurant for dinner and we were disappointed by the pizzas. A beautiful hotel, one of the best value for money in the area.
