Finally, the decoration, pure but colourful, certainly not very personalised, has the merit of being pleasant to the eye. Good breakfast served at the neighbouring Novotel.

This modest hotel is no longer a first youth. A charming little house with a good welcome. The rooms are well decorated but have a little inward, which is not very pleasant. Rates for competitive rooms however.

Establishment located away from the others, not far from the police station. The rooms are comfortable and all have a bathroom with bathtub. They are equipped with air conditioning, which will be asked to function, or not. A hotel in Thai style, without surprises. A small restaurant, right next door.

Grand hotel near the Riverside Hotel (The Teak House), and belonging to the same group. If the establishment is a little old, it is perfectly maintained. It has 42 rooms with wooden floors and a small balcony that overlooks the Yuam River with the mountains in the background. An impeccable garden with chairs and tables to relax on the shore. Swimming pool, pool table. Quality breakfast buffet. Indwelling restaurant. Several small shops are also nearby. Friendly staff.

The bungalows are spacious and well arranged, spread around a small pond, close to the road. Adjoining restaurant.

Superior accommodation, located near the road, not far from Dong Sara Resort. Welcome but not a home restaurant.

Located on the road to Mae Yen (the one leading to the temple of the same name). You must first cross a bridge to leave the area (go to the Bamboo bar) and continue straight at the fork. Bungalows of different sizes are scattered under the trees of a small park. Well-established buildings. A lot of charm. All rooms are ventilated with bathroom (hot water). This is the right place. Unfortunately, prices of some bungalows seem excessive in high season! The restaurant is open from October to May.

Close to the clock tower and bus terminal, the Golden Triangle Palace is located in a pleasant, even exotic setting, with a few one-storey buildings in the middle of a small park. In the heart of the city and yet very quiet, the rooms are very comfortable. Traditional style, with lots of woodwork and a typical Lanna decoration. Well maintained over the years, but a small renovation could modernize the whole. The breakfast served is very satisfying. Friendly and smiling staff.

Recent rooms spread in several wooden buildings. Most have a private bathroom. In the main house, several rooms, furnished in dormitories, have a shared bathroom. Good value for money. The terrace overlooking the Mekong has charm. No restaurant, however.

The hotel is the second behind the bus stop on the left bank. The rooms are divided around an inner courtyard: construction of bamboo or brick. They are comfortable and all equipped with a bathroom (hot water). The place is quiet. The restaurant terrace is located above the river (open from 7 h to 22 h).

Located in the centre of the village, close to the Hotel Weekender. Wooden bungalows are lined along a green alley leading to the street, at the level of a small restaurant. The first ones can be noisy: choose those located at the bottom of the garden. The rooms are small, but they all have a private shower (hot water) of air conditioning (neutralized in ventilation option) and TV 5. The place has charm. A practical and not too expensive address.

Possibility to rent on-site dorms of 4 to 8 people, in longhouse or bungalow, with showers and W.C. common, according to the same principle as in Koh Tarutao. Restaurant on site.

This establishment is approximately 700 m from the pier for Koh Tarutao. It consists of two elongated buildings on each side of a cemented courtyard, perpendicular to the road. The restaurant, open on the outside, is located on the ground floor on the left of the entrance; The sheltered parking is on the right. The air-conditioned rooms on the floor are comfortable, with shower (cold water) and local TV. The kitchen works only in the high season: from 6 a. m. to 22 p. m. The hotel was very clean.

For small budgets, not too much looking at comfort. On the seafront west of Ao Nang, the hotel allows you to enjoy the beach of Noppharat Nopparatthara, just opposite.
