Genoa's artistic vocation is particularly evident at ARTEGENOVA, a contemporary art fair it has organized every year for the past twenty years, with international gallery owners and artists expressing themselves in all sectors of the artistic avant-garde: visual arts, photography, video... The event attracts a broad spectrum of visitors, from discerning collectors and enlightened enthusiasts to the simply curious, who are delighted to discover the latest creative trends over an extended weekend.

It is a professional fair open to the public. Miart offers the largest chronological range of works at the modern and contemporary art fairs in Italy. The fair welcomes galleries from over 20 different countries.

Every Wednesday evening, during the months of July and August, the Trinità town hall, a few kilometres south of Isola Rossa, offers wine tastings of the region's typical products.
